For Whom...?

O
•i found truth
in a saying i read•that we
start dying the day we were born
•not from life inflicted wounds from
which we've bled•not from illness or
disease that would have us torn •we
only live and breathe upon borrowed
sand•because we age; because we are
but mortal•it's only up to ourselves to
be mediocre or grand• what we'll be at
the end is consequential• it'll matter not
if we won popularity polls• or what riches
over which we covet and fuss•when asked, "for
whom does the bell toll?"
•look in the mirror for it tolls

I'm not good at taking it slow
But I hope you know
Waiting isn't something I do well
But I'll wait for you, Annabelle

So many years since the day
I heard you say
"It's not time for us just yet"
And never did I once forget
That you were out there as well
As I waited for you, Annabelle

Time goes on and so it did
Just like you said
"It's not now or never"
But I said I'd wait forever
In all the time between heaven and hell
I'll wait for you, Annabelle

It's not easy for me to stand
As he takes your hand
But as long as he treats you well
I'll wait for you, Annabelle

I gave him my heart,
I thought we could share,
But now he's got two hearts,
While my chest is left bare.

Just when your world collapses

To the point of fall apart

There still resides a tiny spark

Deep within your hungry heart

The tiniest of slivers

A slight glimmer of hope

A righteous nod from the voice of God

Letting you know you're not alone
I know that we're done, you said that we're through
There's just one little thing that I need to do

When we're all alone, and the moment's just right
Then I'll make double sure that there's no one in sight

I'll look to the left, and I'll look to the right
Before I reach out, to pull you in tight

I'll carress your face, with a hand on each side
Waiting to kiss you, my time I will bide

Remember this moment as the last we will share
As my fingers, they run through your silky brown hair

I'll cover your lips, with my lips, oh so tender
Once again to your heart, I sweetly surrender
Right there, did you hear it?
The moan of all the sorrows of the world
Do you hear the cries of despair?
Help, help them, that's all they ask for
Saving, that is all they need
And oh, how I wish I could liberate them all
For I know their screams
I have seen their pain
Because it echoes in my own head every night

I like open skies with many stars
I like clear oceans and lonely bars
I love watching animals attack their prey
I like to sleep so long i skip the whole day.
I like the feeling of having nothing to do
Not being bored but not feeling blue
Just relaxing and enjoying the sound of nothing
I like to take my  time i dont like rushing
I like eating food that tastes real good
Even though itll **** me i love it still
I love to lay outside and watch the birds fly above me
I love to think that one day id find life itself lovely.
