You know she’s sad when you see
that she’s fallen back into her poetry.
Einalem May 2014
I wanna be with you forever

I don't even know how you feel about me
And I want you for time and eternity.

Can't you see that when you look at me?
Einalem Jun 2014
I write about you more than I'd like to admit
I hope you can't taste the satisfaction of
how you've stained my white skin
with your *******.
Einalem May 2014
I've messed up.
I don't feel obligated to you
but I know I'm in love.

We've scratched at each other's hearts
only to see if we could leave scars
but I'd never go further.

I don't know about you though.

Be careful darling,
It's the nice ones who get burned.

It's going all too well
and you're
loving me
all too soon

Be carful
my darling,
you may see
my wounds.
Einalem May 2014
Ah, but my Darling,

You are as far from predictable

as Heaven is from Hell.

I'm grateful for
Your sweet kisses I find in the dark
For the consistency of your inhale
And exhale
I yearn for
The future and what it holds with you
For the idea of eternal consistency
I wonder
About the sky and the stars and how two beings such as You and I were lucky enough to stumble upon the other.
You're like
My safe house, the sea, and the unknown.
I hate
That every phrase that I think of for you is the classic cliche
Because you
Are nothing of normal and for that
I am grateful.

You stitched your name on my heart and in my brain.

It hurt but I wasn't broken...

So I tried to pick them out,

But I only bled

So I left them there

And took the scars instead.

The stars remind me of you
For more reasons than one.
They glisten like your eyes
And enhance a dark space,
Never changing pace.

I'm not a Poet
                   Just a wannabe.

"You faded and I never knew
How to unfold as flowers do."

Maybe,
You and I are just sick people,
laughing at a sick joke,
and we'll only ever have
each other to love
so we hollow out the ground
to lay our bodies side by side
and replace the dirt
so we can feel
the weight of our choices.
