Snowflakes shaking and dancing
onto the roof of the old brick house.
Prancing and lancing
toward the ground.
Each flake with a different structure
but each one is glimmering
one after another
with a whispering windy sound.

Some things are too far away
and some things aren't close enough.
You are always searching for a way
to find happiness and love.
Some hearts are crying in pain
and some are beating with thrill.
Some are still hiding again and again
and some see things for real.
Always trust the Lord
because life is a crazy ride.
Keep looking toward
along with the breaking tide.

A golden glow
glistens ever so heavenly.
Trees and leaves
with a golden flow.
Hazing in the grass
winds gracefully gusts.
Sun's shining over the land
brightly like a light brass.
Peaceful colors tilt
their fallen branches.
All around
everything is gilt.

Look in the mirror.
Don't be afraid.
If you open your eyes,
you are beautiful.
There is only one person
who is you.
Remember that
this coming year.

When we were together,
we took flight.
We discovered every inch
and every sight.
Under you wing
I feet secure
until one day
our flight had a detour.
Your fluttering wings
no longer fluttered with mine.
You floated away
and my wings began to decline.
I felt scissors slowly
cut against my back
causing me to fall
and my flight lost track.
My wings were gone
as I fell from the sky.
Losing my heart
and my ability to fly.
Don't let a person define you.

One Christmas Eve
when I was four years old
I climbed into my bunk bed
shivering from the cold.
Anxious for Santa to come
I asked my sister if I could
crawl in her bed.
I laid on the opposite side
and lifted up my head.
Surprising my little heart
outside my window not so far.
Something I only thought was
in the Bible but there was
the shining Christmas star.
Shimmering brightly
outside my window
I watched it glitter
and I watched it glow.
It stayed there all night
on that night of December.
It was so cool to me
and I will always remember.
this is happened to me when i was little

leaning against her bench,
purple petals blossomed
and the sun shined brightly
and the grass was cut nicely

well cut bushes carried
these lovely blossoms
just so swimmingly
and the petals flew so freely

she read for a few hours
listening to the moving wind,
now the sun lowered gently
and she finished and signed sweetly
