You put a spout on your love and you decisively let it drip,
I am a waterfall of never ending flow to quench thy lips.
You and I are not the same
I still cringe when I meet someone with your name

Your name

Like the slowest poison
It never leaves me

Just slowly eats away

Ah your name

How I wish I could eradicate it from my soul
In the Night

A velvet sky weeps silent tears,
For spirits lost before sunrise,
A broken soul of tortured fears,
With golden hair and azure eyes,
Once more forgotten, left behind,
Discarded dreams of yesterday,
Never to look for, not to find,
A morning’s peace or a new day,
The moon it whispers a lullaby,
To the lost and lonely child,
Sleep and be still, now don’t you cry,
There’s hope tomorrow running wild.

but in that very moment,
you decided to love yourself,
and an aurora borealis is seen-
a phenomenon that is truly magnificent
my second to the last poem of the series inspired of Aurora Borealis by Bohnes
You tried.....that is what counts.

When eggshells become sand
and the tide just another reminder of the glass
being half empty, not full,
it is time to take a step back and reminisce on
the spring flowers blossoming from detritus.

I'll take every piece of your heart into my hands; and I'll carry it no matter how heavy.
I'll remind you that all your pain and heartache makes you so very mighty.
I'm ready.
my love, you are so very mighty and I'll always be ready
