Take my hand, as we walk this terrain.
To the place where upon a branch a woman was hanged.
For stealing grain to make bread, ensuring that her children fed.
Look upwards, crane your head, a woman killed for baking bread.
Now, take my hand and look overland, where grains of sand make up this barren land. From barren life hanging in a tree, to barren sand eroded by sea, come to me. Come away child.
Let's build a sand castle and forget the fear in grains and sand.

Whether it is raw
or cut
Poetry speaks
to your gut.

Whether it is
yours or mine
see it sparkle
see it
shine!

Whether it is
top grade or flawed
it all comes from
the same place

GOD.

Every everyday
You inspire in a different way .
A friend among friends ,
One that (every second) wishes me
well ,
In my heart you will always dwell.

You always push me up life' s
ladder ,
Giving me reason to go further .
“ It will be better ” you would say .
Around you I find a new reason to
smile ;
The energy to go a few more miles .

You, my friend , are a blessing in
many ways ,
In so many ways that I can not
eloquently say .
If you had wings, I will be the first
to call you angel.
May God furnish you with grace,
And under His wings take you to a
higher place .

If , ever, I have to choose again ,
You will be stuck with me like a
stubborn stain .
I appreciate you and our
friendship.
God chooses how best to bless us,
You , my friend , are my own bundle
of favours.

Again and again
Those same words you promised
you wouldn ' t say
Even when it causes us both pain
And take away laughter from the
way we play
This must be a boomerang I dare
say .

The bet is made and the cards laid
The path we must here create
The path to that place of bliss we ' ve
prayed
And away from the destination we
dread
Though we momentarily strayed
Back to the right track we ' ve
always steered.

Look with your minds eyes
And you will see the beauty of these
fields
Where true love , in wait, lies
Always ready and handy with his
shield
To fence us from tears and sties
From all our wrongs in words and
deeds.

We may ail but love always heals
Let it hurt a little
For it is a lot better than all lost

Undeserving as I am
Heaven has done me a great favour
Giving me a gift beyond my
endeavour
Just like God sent me a saviour
Though undeserving as I am

Undeserving as I am
Cupid has taken all my pain
And in you given me gain
Granting me a footing on the
Olympus’ plain
Not minding from whence I came

Undeserving as I am
I have been given a gift so , so
beautiful
Beauty that spells beauty in full
Thus I will measure my gratitude in
full

Undeserving as I am
It is you I want
A little more is but a rant
Though the best for me is what you
want

I am in love with you, yes I am

War
Soldiers sown in the field
And bodies usually are the yield
Bodies of strangers , friends and
colleagues
Leaving survivors with long lonely
monologues
Rendering life without taste or feel.

In this clash of elephants
The casualties include animals ,
civilians , even infants.
That is to say but the least .
Vultures gather in circles to feast
On the remains of once beautiful
living beings .

Where then is the profit of war ?
When rebuilding cost so much
more
Both humanly and materially .

Love most have died centuries ago
She died with Juliet and Romeo
Now her bones lay dust infested
Romeo's to the left
Juliet's to the right.
Wishing they discussed,
Try to figure out how it all turned sour.

If love is dead,
Who or what are we then?
Excavators, that's who we are
Digging furiously, who cares how far
The grave of the duo love birds must be near
Find it, find love at its undiluted sphere.

Enveloped in this fantasies box
Love becomes no more than a hoax
Love is what it is
A beautiful broken bike if you please
Its too dangerous to ride
Yet no choice but the ride
So if you must, put on your safety gear.

Love does not live inside TVs
Nor magazines
She has left the internet and movies
She now lives in the simplicity of you and I.

You may have looked too hard
Yet you still can't find.
This you must figure out
You are looking in the wrong sites.

If I get lost, promise you'd leave me be
Let me walk alone in my circles
I'll find my way back...almost instinctively
Through looping thoughts and scribbles

If I should trip, promise you'd let me fall
Scrape my knee and scream a voiceless scream
Weight of the universe may seem crushing to shoulders so small
I'll walk it off and regain newfound steam

If I show signs of buckling, promise you'd let me collapse into nothing
Let me fold into myself...into an unnoticeable speck
There is solace in this space when the walls are caving
Soon I would reinvent and renew from that wreck

If I suffer a cut, promise you'd just let me bleed
Let the black of my soul gush out
Within it I would find the seed
To which all of my rantings are about

If I should begin to write, promise you'd read my scrawls
Take them as they are and not to heart
Just thoughts versus words that mean much or nothing at all
They'd stitch me anew when I start to break apart

If I keep losing myself, promise that you'd let me be
The circles I tread are very much predictable
They'd always lead me around... Don't treat me differently
Just stay where you are... I'll come back round, fresh and able...

I have come humble to seek your knowledge
With exhausted feet and weighing burden, I bear my heart
I have travelled far to arrive at the world's edge
Ready to receive what wisdom you will impart

I'll set myself cross-legged on the opposite of you
I see you peering, examining my physical entirety
With one good eye, you gaze right through
Makes me uncomfortable, if I may... But I'll hold steady

I notice you muttering but no words could be heard
Your hands hovering over a glassy globe with an ominous glow
You turn to the left, as if conversing with an invisible third
Whispering secrets that I will never learn to know

Shifting your gaze now into the crystal orb
What do you see, Wise One, in that ball of yours
You shudder upon it's touch as though it's power you absorb
Tell me, Soothsayer... What lies for me in this course?

You swiftly pull your hands behind your back
I flinch with a start at your sudden display
You bring back your hands revealing cards out of a stack
You tremble in spasms, dropping the rest leaving one for play

The card you place face down, right in front of me
You motion for me to pick it up and flip it round
I see the card bore inscriptions and ancient runes, quizzically
You ****** the card and begin chanting in odd sounds

Reciting your incantations, in a tongue I do not understand
They sound like curses rather than the answers I seek
It all ends almost as soon as it started... I can't comprehend
You then place your warm palms gently touching my cheeks

Your features softened as you stared into my sullen eyes
A connection like eternity trapped within seconds never going astray
Then you turn away to fetch a bundle roped in knots and ties
You hand it to me hastily before ushering me on my way

I am now perplexed much... What does it show?
What did you see, what does my future hold?
Please enlighten me what you've come to know
From all of that, what could you have foretold?

Bundle in hand I turn to leave your rundown shanty
As I leave, you speak in your voice, different from before
Soft yet raspy you say, "Do not open till the end of journey"
"Open only when in house, behind closed door"

Moon is up illuminating, as I make my way up north
Armed in hand a strange, scented, ******* bundle
Leaving with the same questions with no answers, I amble forth
Wondering if in the bundle I may find the missing pieces of the puzzle...
