Come, Dance with me Under stars That have died Thousands of years ago. Come, Sing with me And let us raise voices On winds that travel nowhere And touch no one. Come, Eat with me The food left moldy and rotten By those who came afore us On the table just out of our reach. Come, Lie with me On a bed of sweat-soaked sheets In a room rank with pleasure Others shared. Come With me now And see the life you were meant to have But were too busy With all your anxiety And technology And pharmacology And ethology And ideology And erotology To live. Come, See the life you were Just late for.

another Tuesday morning
A shocking revelatory letter is presented The tone goes from thanks to regret while the hurricane spins in her head The pharmacology reconnected synapses, morphing her soul, keeping her in bed He realizes she’s letting go for him, she’s done this before She can’t figure out how to love him any more Months later he realized the person he thought he loved was just a mirror She never knew her true self Maybe she never will

The Letter
~ ~ for my knowing friends~ ~~~ so simple the notion, that healing's potent potions are non-directional portents coming at you like a Bob Dylan, Avettt Brothers, rhythm and rhyme, tunes injected from the outside knowing, from the first time that they were residing inside, all the time in, on and under the skin the conflicted battle rages between the coursing forces of I believe and the low grade infection, incurable return of faithless disbelief and irreconcilability a parental entry knowing, despite different routes of administration, there is no pharmacology for a limb lost, any prosthesis healing supplanted from without, never achieves anything approaching next to normal *but from within, the heart can heal itself, trying a natural bypass, doing its imperfect best to correct the uncorrectable, resigned to accept the unacceptable* the slight edge felt from cutting a garden's new growth for replanting an act of belief in the future, witnessing a sunset's nightly color sky's return rebirthing, knowing, admitting to oneself, that miraculously better than all ever seen prior are medicines that come from the outside, and inward bound daily injections, they are: *"healing, from the inside out... just as it was meant to be!"*

healing from the inside out
A drug is not like a candy Displayed in a grocery store. It's just a short-term remedy To control your symptoms quickly. I think you would have heard before- A drug is not like a candy. Ever heard of drug allergy- Like rashes or blisters which tore? It's just a short-term remedy Not to cure disease totally. Some take it like everyday's chore. A drug is not like a candy To rid pain and make you happy. Think of those side effects and more! It's just a short-term remedy. Try to learn pharmacology, I bet you will find it a bore. A drug is not like a candy; It's just a short-term remedy.

The DSM likes to label everything that it is able: If you think your temper’s bad or ‘cause of troubles you are sad or you defy the moral order, remember that it’s a disorder. Once we had the Seven Deadlies, but now they’re only symptom medleys. If people would take responsibility-- learn acceptance, and humility-- they might cure what’s made them ill. The answer’s not found in a pill. Disaster strikes and leaves its scars; a sympathetic ear goes far to help someone to heal from pain. It might be a disease when victims find there’s no surcease from memories, from guilt that stains. But time and talk could heal those scars. Taking pills goes just so far. It’s all genetic, so they claim. But when you look at histories of patients sad and suicidal some things all seem to be the same: A loss, abuse or child neglect; much sorrow, guilt and pain abject. Can it just be coincidental? And if it’s a glitch that’s only chemical why is the healing incremental? Why aren’t patients all soon happy when they take their magic pill? I believe what makes us ill is more than random Pharmacology’s limitations are seldom spoken to the patients. A quick fix is what we’re sold, the risks and chances we’re not told.
