At the center
of my being
I am
a soul
wrapped in precious time
I am
grateful
to know
the gift of life
is spirit
that matters
in the dust of stars
We are
in the middle
of a miracle
that never stops
giving
Death is a reclaiming of wholeness
when life becomes absorbed
in the oneness of the universe
which is everywhere
and nowhere

in that moment
when our loved one goes
the reclaiming
takes part of us
as we become connected
to the fullness of their emptiness

it is more than the mind can understand
only the soul knows
the connection is real
I whisper this poem with sigh.
moving at dusk of clouds.
Roads take me
on pathway
where heart grows heavy
and footsteps slow.

From where he hides that someone
I’ve searched for?
Is he behind stars,
near flower not yet bloomed?
On road the self less travels?
Or perhaps he’s mythical with no form
making absent to eyes.

Whispers of prayer leave lips
to land on leaf
for gentle breeze to gift an angel.
Perhaps then
dream will touch reality,
as I do rest
below a moon bells song.
Inspired by poem by Robert frost called The Road not taken.
As traveler
in human form...

We dance for romance
cry and sigh
eat and sleep

We fight for light
Dream and scheme
Write all night

We joke and smoke
Seek and Speak
Bow and pray

And prance to dance
moving
in path to enhance soul.
Astray?
      but that was yesterday!
Arrived finally have I
my heart is wider than the sky
Life's first lesson:
           understand
           the message of the heart
           in every season
Musical melodies are in my heart
an orchestrated masterpiece.
Even stronger when two lovers meet
and sing in tune.

a river of musical notes
inside one’s pond of eyes
Even stronger when two lovers,
meet to gracefully swim.

There’s a mountain of verse
when one smiles with light.
Even stronger when two lovers
kiss with passions.

And, there is an energy of peace
inside self love never lonely.
Even stronger when two lovers
convene with ecstatic pleasures.
Inspired by Robin Lemmen -A gifted poet Thanks
