behind a closed door
and then behind another
buried under things no one wears anymore
there I am
all 206 pieces of me
collecting dust and
hiding from the light.
and if I had a brain,
or even a bladder,
they would tell me “leave.”
if I had lungs
they would beg for new air.
but I have a heart
and it’s right outside that door
and she tells me not to move a muscle
joke’s on her
-

in case you was curious,
that "©" which appears
at the end of a writer's

printed work is purposed
to indicate copyrighted
materials within it's body

recorded —somewhere—

on government stationary in
a government office located in
a government city guarded

by government agents who
typically are out to lunch on
the government's dime

(our dime)

but My lil " ©" doesn't
cost all that much, like if
you buy stickers from

an alarm security outfit for
seventeen bucks to throw on
the front and rear windows
of your house,

instead of the $ 1,700 system
that wont go off unless
YOU are there to
turn it off.

still, its nice to know—

a burglar would be less likely
to risk setting it off from
reading the copyright notice
                                                   anyhow...

cute lil poem about
© dogs that bark,

but dont bite...
apart from the sadness
i consider myself lucky
to be surrounded by people
that i love so dearly
a blessing that cannot be
taken away from me

ghost
you

ghost
you
I don't want to live
but I don't want to die either
so you ask
what do I want
it's simple
I want you
my life did not use
to be a minefield

just a field
of dry grass
and dead trees
i have to try my best not to make a move that will drive me over the edge
Let my silence teach you

what my words

did not
This year, do not explain yourself (especially repeatedly) to someone who does not listen. Let your silence be your response. Let your happiness be your response. Let your peace be your authenticity.
