THE CAT AND MOUSE GAME*
Walt Disney’s ‘Tom & Jerry’ cartoons are popular
even to this day.
Cat’s stealth-like pursuits with near captures,
and the mouse’s repeated escapes, -
Is the very essence of the Cat and Mouse Game!
A test of patience and perseverance for the Cat,
But that Mouse usually manages to escape the
paws of the Cat!

The serious game our Doctors with patience
and dedication have continued to play,
Ever since that elusive Chinese virus has come
our way, deserves our Commendation!
As with sprays, hand sanitizers, and a mask we
try to prevent Corona’s inhalation.
Fighting an unseen enemy which continues to
haunt and escape detection!
Wish there was ‘a game plan’ for its destruction!

A rat poison can be more effective than the Cat,
But only an anti-dote or a vaccine can **** our Rat!
Let us pray that soon a vaccine comes to light,
To drive away our gloom and make the future
look Bright!

I lost sight of the side effects of love.
The sad reality that good things get broken.
No amount of tape or glue can remove the regret
and uncertainty that comes from being betrayed.
The anger at someone's choices fades to hate towards
myself in the darkness.
What is the cure to self-doubt?
Love.
Then the cycle continues.

You might be quite bored
But don’t make the same mistake
Do NOT dye your hair
I know everyone’s bored in quarantine but do not dye your hair.

As pebbles are thrown
into the lonesome pond
laughter splashes out
And smiles run and glide
with ripples of liveliness.
Which era is this?
Where love eminences to suffer,
Where unexpected arrival reeks fear.
Afar destination still awaits our bliss.

Which era is this?
Where nature rampage over and over,
Where Red Dahlias disguise as beautiful aster,
Afar destination still awaits our bliss.

Which era is this?
Where burning tears of sky leisurely cry terror,
Where the last phrase of life exclaims horror.
Afar destination still awaits our bliss.

Behind our backs the door slowly closes
And In front a new one appears to venture
New era awaits our torture
And miles and miles are yet to cover.

It's snowing in May
white flurries coat the ground
before my 23rd birthday
and I'm lingering around
like Wintry disdain
a frosty mark on Spring's refrain

A week ago it snowed in May and I had feelings
I kept a list of things that you dread and like
Colored the first black, the other white.

Back then, I only know one to cite
Now, it has a ninety-nine items in plain sight.

Wrote the 100th note after the talk yesterday
My name is finally on it but the color is gray.
After our confrontation, it turned out I am neither.
