I got engulfed in a world where none of them can enter. And in that world, I was alone.
Zia Mar 2015
but i did try, didn't i?
i did try to forget sadness
to be happy all along
to erase every memory of pain
and every single hate
i struggled my way out
out of the abyss
after finally breaking to pieces
but nobody was there
i couldn't feel anyone's presence
just a bunch of scrutinizing stares
far from the world where i was
so i stood up
put on a smile
but no
it was all too perfect
all too good to be true
all pretentious
more bullets would come
and break me once more
since everything was a facade
i easily shattered
and the mask fell down
this poem's just as messy as everything

The moon shines a cool blue tonight
as we entwine our fingers, laying on the baseball field
beneath diamond heavens. We lie
in silence, in the moments when the Universe reveals
itself, and contemplate the distances between one celestial body to
another, the space between
us growing as I turn south
to find Orion while you seek Cassiopeia in the north.

Shooting stars cross the sky, and we wish separately on dead
stars and dead dreams, lights already grown red and extinguished
as we whisper in the dark, passing
between phases.

And in the end we're all left searching.

There's so much of you
I want to see
There's so much of you
I want to hear
There's so much of you
I want to feel
There's so much of you
I want to know

I want to delve in deeper
Into your mind
I'd like to hear the nothings you whisper
You murmur when you're about to go to bed
I'd love to get to know the soul
That's perfect inside
I'd like to wake up next to you each morning
And hear you snore lightly

There's so much of you
I want to  *love
This poem is plain and simple so, sorry if it isn't as good as all the others. Still, hope you like this one. Like it and comment below, making it trend would be nice too. Don't forget to follow me. Thanks :)

I put you into poetry

For what good is it to trample something lovely?
Not so even waiting for it to wither down
Killing the joy in it that was once so lively
Forcing it in lies, obliteration, to drown.

For what good is it to contaminate, poison?
With the obloquy that your scornful lips emit
And your eyes that look with shame, devoid of reason.

I met her once
a little, blind girl
who had let me
inside her wonderful world.

Yes, she couldn't see,
the girl with eyes bright.
Yet, she loved her world
like she never lost her sight.

She heard the music
of the breeze that blew.
The love for her world,
it only grew.

She acquainted me with
that music she heard,
from the buzz of the bees
to the chirping of the birds.

Yes, she couldn't see
the wonders of life.
Yet, she smiled
without a sign of strife.

She had beautiful eyes
filled with wonder.
I stood speechless and thought
how could God make such a blunder?

She danced and sang
with a graceful twirl.
How she loved her life
the little, blind girl.

She smiled and laughed,
her face filled with joy.
With wonder in her eyes,
she was serene, yet coy.

She felt her world
beneath her tiny fingers
and on me left a mark
that would forever linger.

Yes, she couldn't see
the life that she felt.
Yet, she never showed
the sorrow that she dealt.

Her world was dark.
Yet,  she saw
the Earth's true form
pure and raw.

Yes, she let me in.
But I couldn't overstay.
So, I excused myself politely
and quietly walked away.

I had met her once
a little girl who couldn't see.
Yes, she was a child
but the happiest there could ever be
Probably one of my best works. I'm pretty proud of it. ^_^
