Chained in a cupboard,
hiding    starving    rage;
moist   lonely   prison  ward
thoughts flowing from the cage.

Old   clouds   of   mem'ry   ringing
thin         branches,         capillaries;
delicate     lives     singing,     dancing,
hopping  through  the  mystical  breeze.

Hot     sting     of    dis - allowance,
steel    cotton    wool    betrayal
reveals   a   hallowed   trance,
an     ever     stalling     trial.

Reflection             burning
radiant                 fiction:
mindless       churning
contra     -     diction.

Strain deepened,
sound decried,
weaken- ed,
denied.....

Chained

a safe haven
to rest but
her choice is turmoil
and pain
it is hers to make
and mine to
accept

he moved her
like a cigarette
between his fingers
both made him feel good
he let her in
and felt things
he never quite understood
but when he's done
like a cigarette
he'll simply turn her off.

Can you hear the silence can you see the void buried deep in my mind I never thought I would be able to have the person who could extract the things you can but I lessened my burdens gave them upon your shoulders and saw my smile become more and your become fake do I really hurt you that way do your screams fall on the deaf ears I couldn't reach before but now I hope that my mind and heart are both entwined in their clarity for now your eyes no longer see through mine

He wanted to be found
and to never get discovered
He wanted to be solved
using an equation
that no one could ever
figure out
He wanted to be an answer
no mind could ever
fathom
He wanted to be sorted out
so that he'll be an
organized mess
He wanted to be known
by the world
without they knowing
who he is
He wanted to make her
fall for him
with her heart oblivious
of this fact
He wanted to be a fact
yet to remain a mystery !!
“I like your eyes

and your face

and your smile

and your hair

and your hips

and your smell

and your legs

and your thighs

and your calves

and your teeth

and your cheekbones

and your smile

and your eye-brows

and your ears

and your waist

and your fingers

and your hand

and your toes

and your skin

and your palms

..........

and your everything

That you don't like

About yourself

..........

I LIKE everything

Because...

Because...

"I LOVE YOU”

Here are two pupils
whose moons of black
transform to cripples
all who look:

each lovely lady
who peers inside
take on the body
of a toad.

Within these mirrors
the world inverts:
the fond admirer's
burning darts

turn back to injure
the thrusting hand
and inflame to danger
the scarlet wound.

I sought my image
in the scorching glass,
for what fire could damage
a witch's face?

So I stared in that furnace
where beauties char
but found radiant Venus
reflected there.

all i needed
was to look at that face
and hear those words
yes you can love me
adrenaline
morphine

last night i rode my bike
in the rain 5 miles to see her
we met in the usual spot
i waited until the perfect moment
asked her permission
to love her once again
it was granted

she will never love me back
but i don't care
because when i dream
it is of her and i together forever

that little shot
is enough to keep that dream alive
through the toughest times

to see that face
and hear those words
yes you can love me
is all i need
adrenaline
dopamine
it was great to see you again last night i gotta keep this dream alive

She was here.
She told me how she'd always love me.
It was clear
I was the man in her life.
Why didn't she stay?

I opened up my heart to sorrow,
Not knowing there was no tomorrow.

She was gone
Before I knew.
It hit me hard,
Knocked out my lights,
Quicker than a heartbeat,
Faster than the speed of a lie.

She was here.
I knew she'd have my back always.
It was clear
I would always have her back.
Then, she went away.

She left no way for me to follow.
It happened fast - bitter pill to swallow.

She was gone
Before I knew.
It hit me hard,
Knocked out my lights,
Quicker than a heartbeat,
Faster than the speed of a lie.

It would be better,
If I could only say she had been untrue,
But at the time, I don't even think she knew,
That standing beside me was the one thing she could never do.

All at once my heart was hallow,
Echos of love, my heart is fallow.

She was gone
Before I knew.
It hit me hard,
Knocked out my lights,
Quicker than a heartbeat,
Faster than the speed of a lie.
Written between last night, and this night, 1-29-2016, this is my homage to 80's guitar rock.
