1 equals 3?
And 3 equals 1?
What is this triune, this paradox of God?
One-third, again, and once more.
One is the foundation, another the living space, and the third the door.

What then of this mathematical complexity. Where 3 = 1 and 1 = 3?

Quite literally, this equation is wrong...
Or, perhaps the proof to this problem is too long?

A bit of a mashup between math and religion.

What's harder
between logic and love?
What's easier
between feeling and reason?

Maybe love is just an equation
with different variables and inconsistent values
Maybe pain could be avoided
if we just add up the right values
and divide the exact problems.
Maybe love could be found
if we subtract mistakes made
and multiply lessons learned.

What if love was math?
my writing's been a bit rusty, but I'm hoping to get back on board soon...

Death vibrating on the sunbeams
look at me look at me
   ******* diminishing
   Chomp chomp chomp
   Number gets spin
And my head comes on crashing

I've been in love
(or thought I was)
twice now
and I'm only
twenty years old.

I've spent my entire life
practicing the art
of letting go
and I lost track of
my losses
because I've never
been good with
numbers.

I have
added,
subtracted,
divided
and solved
my way back
to you

countless of times

and this is how
I know I am

no good at math.

They use fractals for the mountains
And then again for the trees

I think they might use calculus
For the waves upon the seas

Fibonacci works for sea shells
I heard also for the ear

Fibonacci knows the perfect rose
I submit to you my dear

Although not common in nature
If at all it's only a blip

But still incredibly fun for me and my son
When we made our Möbius strip

The most confusing math in nature
Used describing me and you

I learned in school, I know it's true
That one plus one, is two

But you and I together
It feels like we are one

And when you are away from me
The math it equals none
A mathematician's love poem? You don't see that everyday!

As the rate of change of life seems
To increase ever more as
Days pass, I would hope to approach
You asymptoticly-

Forever approaching you

Closer and closer

Until finally

Problems, Problems everywhere.
Equations, Expressions it’s so unfair!
From x to y from y to x,
You never know what comes next!
Until it leaves you with one desire.
Math, I hope you die in a fire.

Well, I don’t actually feel that way.
In fact, Math is kinda ok.
Although Math sometimes can be disturbing,
a world without it would be quite unnerving.

A book filled with numbers
It's harder than I thought
A book full of problems
A problematic book perhaps

First
You put on your best face
Because you are unprepared
To bear any flaws
That appear in your
Outer
Self, where you are sewn together
With a thin loosing thread
That once it breaks
Will reveal things
Inner
Because you've gained
Some form of confidence
Through compassion
And you know you shouldn't
But you expect it to
Last*
So the final goodbye hurts
Far more than it would've
Had you not gotten involved
To begin with
