i waited for you a long time
a long time is a lot of weather
accordingly
i am gnawed upon
sol bleached
sculpted by high wind
and scraped by glacial passes

i plan to persuade others to join me
in patience arranged
a rough arrow like travelling birds
we'll stand planted
seeing the sun zip over and disappear in neat flips
the stars streak bright the glimpses of night
whittling away the time

erode

calcified
we'll become fashioned as smooth pins
for descendants to play at skittles

I remember that one poem I wrote
I felt like my brick for a heart it could erode
But reading what came after makes me sick
Because this raw emotional poem’s contents
Have turned into a ******* gimmick
I want to feel.

His mixed signals
and
Her insecurities~
The deadly blend,
had the power
to erode
their golden time.
A fact observed in toxic relationships....

time and distance
too little and too far;
my love has sailed
away…
an anchor never hoisted
and sails with no wind
while I wait on the rocks
eroding.

salt is cruel
swept in my wounds
where sun burns it in
like crust…

why wait?

the tide is rolling
but you my love are working
to remain
away.
time is on your side
not mine.
I left the rocks so it is time to share this one.

I have this constant feeling I'm eroding deep inside
like a tree, my branches are full of sweet and colorful life
but my core is slowly fading and I'm withering away
by the ants that have invaded and have claimed me as their prey
I'll bend with the wind and stand tall in the storm
until my trunk begins to be weakened and deformed
When I fall no one will hear my cry that's so profound
'cause no one is in sight, so I did not make a sound
