I would do many things
In order to forget about you

I would stub my pinky toe on a wall
Or get a big and ugly tattoo
Lose all of my hair
And constantly have the flu

I would let a spider crawl on me
And run naked through the streets
Acquire a horrible sunburn everywhere
And only eat frost burned meats

I would get a paper cut between my fingers
Or bid my favorite book adieu
Even give up writing
Just to have one day where I don’t think about you

Ahh, yes. There are many things I would do, in order to forget about you.

But the truth is, there are even more things I would do, to be loved by you.
I will spread dirt into every crevice of my broken heart and plant flowers so big and beautiful, that their roots will mend all the shattered pieces back together, and you’ll never be able to see the mess I used to be.

I've said her eyes had
the color of a madness shade
of blue.
That's not true.
They are the color of
love and angels, and
eternal spring.
Her eyes sing of
motherhood and light rain.
The sun shines through them-
a tepid pool that I
want to jump in and swim;
back float through the
daisies and spilled juice,
through the ravens-
all the way to heaven.

Everyday that dawns,
you slip away a little more.
The distant stare,
the apathetic eyes.
Your love is as dead
as the roses in
the trash.
Your heart is an
abyss that I'm
lost in forever.
Belladonna drew me in.
The poison kept me there.
In my mind
I saw you smiling
You just made my day!
I’ll smile all day.

It is ever-breaking fragile pain,
Thinly-strung lightning-flames.

It is stressing, tense, and pulsing life.
To force down grief, to strengthen strife.

It is flowing wonders' pouring heart,
A weathered, broken beggars' cart.

It is swimming through the sunlit air
On perfume-scented strands of hair.

It is sprouting springtimes luscious glade,
And lying down in burning shade.

It is a flashing trick of fading shadow,
In summer sunlights only meadow.

It is broken trust and spoken lies,
An angry haze in bleeding eyes.

It is sipping sweetness and pouting lips,
A flag of peace that snags and rips.

whimsical hues
pretty pastels
dancing birds and
singing angels

mix of colors
the blues and pinks
mystic faces
our laughs and tears

look at the sky
stop the pretend
evermores too
come to an end

every minute
clouds are shrouding
and now you are
disappearing

look at the sky
stop the pretend
evermores too
come to an end

the setting sun
seems to await
hanging around
for something great

there is no point
in her waiting
she herself knows
he's not coming

look at the sky
stop the pretend
evermores too
come to an end

the moon is late
the sun has set
he has appeared
but she has left

so came the dusk
starless somber
from serious vows
into strangers
The dreaded waiting game.
some people they are lucky they find a love to stay
others they have bad luck and there love fades away.

love it can be cruel or it can be kind
it can turn at anytime leaving love behind.

it can last forever if your love is true
or it can last a moment and walk away from you
.
we just never know which way it will be
will it fade away or last eternally
little tommy  turtle went on holiday
to the beaches of hawaii so very far way
he packed his little case with things that he might need
packed it very neatly very nice indeed.

jumped aboard a plane and to the sun he flew
flying through the sky so very bright and blue
he landed in hawaii  back down on the earth
headed for the beach and decided he would surf.

he jumped on to a surf board the waves were very high
riding on the crest as he went sailing by
tommy he was happy having lots of fun
in this land so faraway underneath the sun.

then as he got tired he found big palm tree
underneath he fell asleep as happy as can be.
