Gray skies,
Thunder sounds, like a beating heart,
I hear your whispers in the wind,
As the rain falls like never ending tears,

Painfully cold, missing love,
Love has left me standing alone,

I'm afraid,
Love will not find her way back home,
Through the cold rain,

I have always been thinking,
How can two Souls in love be separated by a flood, caused by a rain of tears?

We once said, we would never say goodbye,

Hoping, when the skies clear,

Far to the East,
My heart travels with desire,

Where memories of flying with a magpie send me dreaming,

Flying high above hazy cliffs of Kosŏng-****,
I see, Oh wow!
What is this ship sitting on top of a mountain?
A cruise ship was shining like a blue and white sea shell in the sunshine,

The magpie yells come follow me and see other amazing things,
Beautiful Hangang shows me the way back home,

My heart beats with desire,
As the magpie beckons me to follow my dreams,
And come back home.

I feel amazed and like I'm living in a deep dream sometimes,
When I think of you each night and day,
And when I see you, I see Magpies flying high,

I write words from our dreams, every day,
These words are never enough,
To show how much I love you!

I cry when you're in pain,
There is nothing I can do but pray,

You're beautiful!
I can't resist your courage and strength, it's true!
The cherry blooms and palaces fade into shadows sometimes...

But my memories of living with you in the past will always remain,
Locked away in my heart, like the treasures of Joseon,
I am crazy for you!

Your Soul is fast; your heart is a mother's love,
I truly wish my heart was being held in your hands,
I could sing and dance 'til life was done,
But you are the focus of my plans,

Dreaming, of you every night,

Nights of seeing a rabbit riding on the moon,

Dreams of waking to your the words, “Good morning dear one.”
Waking to the smell of roasting coffee,
Hungry for fried rice and Doenjang soup,

Dreams of us living in the palace of prospering virtue,

Dreaming of watching the sunrise in this ancient place,
While holding hands and walking through our secret garden,

Dreams, of a beautiful dark haired woman,
Dreams of us growing old together,
Watching our grandchildren fly without wings higher than magpies,
Dreaming our dreams come true.

When the world was the color white,
I chose to stand by your side,

But, these cold days were not by chance,
Nor would they last,

I fell in love,
With memories of our past,
Finally, I've figured out my life,

Ancient Lands,
So far away,

A night's lonely dreams,
Walking along Hyeopjae Beach,
Summer's ocean breeze,
Warms my wandering heart,

You are standing here, Holding my hand,
Looking forward;
A billion diamonds swimming in,
The ocean's waves,

For such a long time now,
I've been missing you,

My heart will not let go,
Of the white sands of Hyeopjae Beach.
