Realistically You can’t hide when your
emotional enemy resides inside
Your actions you ,can no longer abide

Your soul Haunted to the core
Satan always knows the score
Prey for repentance once more

Proverbial Time heals the soul
yet guilt ridden emotions take their toll.
This storm working to your end goal

Our staggering resilience to live.
Gradually, we learn to forgive
The alternative world drain like a sieve

Survival demands a yearning to grow
Which facilitates a learning to let go.
On the other side a better life you’ll know

In your minds eye , Emotions can’t hide,
You’re just a smile away, on the other side
Let your morals conscious be your guide
This type of poem is a Tercel A three line poem, with a rhyme scheme  AAA,  BBB, CCC There is no limit to the length other than each stanza is three lines

Make peace
With yourself
Make peace
With the world
You live in
Make peace
In your community
That you live in
Make peace
With your loved ones

I've lost direction of my boat
Too many winds
Pushing and pulling me
In uneven and choppy waters
So fiercely
So frequently
They have left me scrambled
I don't know the path anymore
And so
I float

Strange, isn't it?

The way we mourn those
Still living...
I miss you.

How do you
Forgive yourself
For all the
Things that
You never
Became?

When I feel myself
Beginning to fret
When fear or depression
String me along
The best way to stop it
To jam up the angst
Is to set loose the hands
To break into song

Take note of my thoughts
Tune into my feelings
Pick out a rhythm
And let it ring true
I try but can't quite
Put my finger on why
But my hands 'round this neck
Sure cast out the blues
