Unsure how to respond,
Unsure what to say.
Try putting my mind into words.
See if you are pulled up and down,
Twisted left and right every night;
See if you still sound
Like a perfect movie then.
Will you still be sure?

We have disappeared into an abyss I found.
You loved my eyes, I love only you.
You loved my hand, I love your love.
You loved what I can do, I love what you could dream.
You loved my hair, I love your admiration.
You loved what you could see, I love everything about you. Including you.

See the stars shining bright tonight
Lay in the grass without you here
If everything was a mere dream
You could join me
stars You&I; dream love

Who to love;
Who to hate.
The answer once clear
Now I don't see you here.
You left.
Sent your message in an email
That left me wide eyed and pale.
Here, as I cry and wonder,
"How did you not know
I would take this as a blow?"
Rianna Quarequio Dec 2015
Just when I thought you were real,
When I thought you were mine;
You turned your back
Put your knife in mine.
I thought I could trust you
Until I saw what you could do.

Not even the vein
On her ringfinger
Reached
Her heart.*

You have made it.
You’ve just made your self invincible.
The fact that you own this heart of mine
Rendered me vulnerable:
     The freeze of your smile,
          The death in your goodbye,
The craze I felt I almost wanted,

So here I am,
A soul stuck in a sleepless state,
Writing poems just to forget
     What they really were about,
For longing, yet again, is disallowed
Because you got your eyes fixed
     In the opposite direction
That I can hardly see your face, your stars,
     The blaze of stars.

Now let me wait, at least, stay,
So that I may be able
     To understand why...
Why of all
The constellations to choose from
I chose the farthest, the one
     Most difficult to reach,

Then slowly, just maybe,
I’ll forget the glow...
     ...that you possess.*
