Love like the sun
Loves the earth
Ever since they met
They dance every day

The sun makes the earth
Look on the brighter side
The earth gives the sun
A reason to wake up

Love like the earth
Loves the sun
Because the earth isn’t distracted
By the stars and the moon
Daddy always said I was never gonna make it
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said to just go on and fake it
Never mind the cap and gown

Daddy always said there's no way out but dieing
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said there's no truth only lieing
No way up, there's only down

Daddy always said
Daddy always said

Work real hard and still you will go nowhere
Do your best, but this is where you'll die
Work real hard, but still you're getting nowhere
Ask yourself, why do I even try
Daddy always said

Daddy always said that school is just for losers
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said, there's no lovers just abusers
This place is gonna wear us down

Daddy always said, that I have no direction
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said, I was a waste of an *******
Never gonna leave this town

Daddy always said
Daddy always said

Work real hard and still you will go nowhere
Do your best, but this is where you'll die
Work real hard, but still you're getting nowhere
Ask yourself, why do I even try
Daddy always said

Daddy always said, to just follow the leader
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said, the town's  a monster and we feed her
Never gonna leave this town

Daddy always said, that we were both the same
Never gonna leave this town
Daddy always said, I was just a number not a name
And that is why I shot him down

Daddy always said
Daddy always said

Work real hard and still you will go nowhere
Do your best, but this is where you'll die
Work real hard, but still you're getting nowhere
Ask yourself, why do I even try
Daddy always said
Daddy always said
Daddy always said
Daddy always said....

Philo—
not enough
too much
of jaded edges
too much
of glass shards
too much
light
not enough
to heal
Statues are worn
by the scorn
of heavens
Philo—
The look in his eyes
Philo—
Every time he laughs
Philo—
The sunlight blinds
my broken eyes
Philo—
There is no right side
in a war
Philo—
Only pain
and peace
and fear
Philo—
The deadliest wars
aren't fought
in battlefields
Philo—
Everyone
Everything
hurts
Philo—
His absence.
His silence.
His.
His.
His—
Phobia.

Delight
cowers from the monolith of
Fear

Joy
shrinks from the vise of
Fear

Hope
Dissipates from the jaws of
Fear

Heart
reshapes into
Fear

Courage
is just ignored
Fear

Everything
I am
is made of
Fear.

I wonder
about the silence between
your words
I want
to hear your laughter
even then
I think
it's the closest thing to heaven
I can have

I wonder
about the empty spaces
inside me
I want
to fill them with cosmos
with you
I think
it's the closest thing to happiness
I can have

I wonder
about the distance between
each star
I want
to walk every line in every constellation
with you
I think
it's the closest thing to eternity
we can have.

Ten
One
glance
Two
steps forward
Three
big steps back
Four
deep breaths for bravery
Five
painful weeks of pointless contemplation
Six
thousand excuses for my fading footsteps
Seven
worthless poems for worthless hopes and wishes
Eight
hours after four, the ground has become uneven
Nine
letters spell my real name, one you'll never know
Ten
terrible reasons why I can never, ever let us happen

But one
glance.

If love for you
is repeatedly running away,
continuously throwing everything,
brutally shutting me down,
and forcing yourself to never mouth,
then cut me a piece of your love
and I'd gladly give it
to someone who's masochistic
enough.

yesterday you want me to eat
all the foods in your fridge,
because you said
they'll make me stronger.

because you said
they'll make me smart just as you are.

you want your calories to seep through me,
isn't it?
and your blood to mix with mine.

But I hated all the foods in your fridge
they aren't healthy
they are processed, fake nutition
yellow painted on bananas
red painted on apples.
Just as you want me to be healthy
even if I'm not.

I never ate since yesterday,

that's why I'm still skinny.

Isn't always the teenage dream
It's when people tell you that it's ok to be you
Well, unless of course, if you're a part of the LGBTQ
It's when you get the overflowing sense of libido
And most of the time you feel inferior
Your parents are wrong, you feel like you hate them
You talk to people you call friends
Even though sometimes you want nothing to do with them
You think you're in love with this boy
But really it's lust
You break the rules
You're breaking loose
Because remember the time you were 8
And wanted to be a teenager?
Well, this isn't what you expected
Isn't it?
