Tug me into the ocean, deeper and darker, take me to heaven
I'm predictable, baby, and my poetry fits in the waves
but the ocean functions the same, cover me in your water
and turn me into the summer breeze I'm powerless, unseen
melt me like ice cream in a summer day, bring me to my knees to pray
dance me like a bonfire, wash the sand off my sweater or just
let me wear yours when this feeling needs rekindling

and suddenly all my favorite songs were about you
and suddenly all my favorite poems were about you
close your eyes to what you can't imagine, sixty seven
hours spent with you and I'm falling into you deeper than the sea
and hot like I'm dancing in your island flames
just to speed my heartbeat to match and catch yours

There is a weight that pours smiles on my face at night
Yet leaves me soaked in shame with the sunrise
One begins to show leaves in April
But truly blooms in may
Everyone sees birds chirping
And kids at play
Yet to me the light that causes them to smile
Makes me feel tired and sick
The kids at play make me feel nostalgic
Then another that will truly show in June
Because then begins white lies
With becoming and adult in-between
And 2 months of goodbyes

I need to pay more attention in chemistry

instead you're all my eyes wanna see

So I began paying you more attention
And wondering if we had chemistry

But then you moved seats permanently

So I decided you probably wouldn't be into me
Goodbye to my slurpee dreams

Your laureate crown is permanent

You walk fast as a local feline
L'Empereur far from his throne
You look disoriented
You look tired

It's nightfalling

I go through a mirror
You're sitting in there
I hide carefully
Not to be alert
I have found myself again
Dreaming of you inside
The reflection of your mirror

When I was six
Daddy held my tiny hand
He promised mine would stay silk
His hands were hard
From love
He walked with me
in the Tennessee mountains
While the Lady Slippers bloomed
Rare orchids
in pink and yellow
They grow wild here
He bent,
looking me in my pale eyes
And he said
"God of the mountains and wild things,
breathe,
make them dance,
for my little lady."
And they did
Lady Slippers are a very rare type of orchid. The roots are medicinal. And they are nearly impossible to cultivate. The Cherokee people, used them frequently and the white man nearly irradicated them. Happy Sunday and my love to you all;)

When the weather starts getting colder
That’s when you see us
We fall out of the sky
Dancing so lightly as the wind blows us around

As were dancing
We start to stick to your nose and eyelashes
We start dancing even faster

You caught us in your hand
But when you open your hand
We sadly have to melt away

‪The truth is, even though I was drowning in my misery. I never wanted to get out of it.‬

‪It was all I had. ‬

Poetic T
Enveloped within the musings of ardour,
I was the pencil etching upon the refined
blank verses of her needing's.

Engraving within the crevasses of her
yearning, writing syllables felt deep within.
She was an impression on my heart.

We were woven of different silks that merged
beautifully woven deep within the emotions
of each others rousing verses.
