silence reaches down from the farthest corners of space
claims my inner voices' be still and listen'
and I find myself listening for days unable to speak a word
and into the void of silence I touch the stars.
Love is nothing but a conflict of mind
Which makes a lover just totally blind
At times it is cruel but at times it is kind
It takes one to dreams never ever to find

What is beauty ,it is but light to bloom
At times it is pleasure at times just gloom
It is heart taking fragrance in empty room
It is nothing else but like your perfume

May I take just some moments on loan
Please be kind don't have heart of stone
Concern is that which is openly shown
Princess of my heart my heart is throne

Queen
She is
Queen of Queens
She is beauty
She is the sun rays raising hair on my skin,
she is honey
sweet,
smooth,
gently melting away wounds from my feet,
to my broken wings
she makes me want to reach for that star.
she represents every womans smile
She is Queen Africa
Whom I'm proud to call my mother!
happy womens day
From the rooftop
I see the houses sleeping in moonlight

(My chance ascent to the roof
for a space to be aloof
begets this poem
)

I know this stillness is deceptive

behind the half glow neon panes
or the wooden ones shut tight from light
beyond the dumb walls of white
tears and smiles are flowing
also grunts of despair
moans of flesh upon flesh
stopping at the skin
or going far down to that misty spot
and even far past all them
two hearts holding the flame
of years buried on the bed
a child still in their head
or there but really not there
somewhere too wide to build a bridge

(Thirty minutes past nine
the toy houses in the moonlight shine
in their chambers holding life not seen
)

And I atop one such house know
it's time to go down the stairs
to take up the script again
and write and act and write
for the length of night.

If the tears are what wash my heart,
Then every night spent crying
Has been worth all tears.
So one more night spent
With pillow wrapped my face,
Let these salty tears flow and I'm clean.
Inspired by my parents possible divorce, July 24...

I look the same, every time I check
In the mirror I see nothing but a wreck
You say I'm nice, but what the heck;
How nice would I be with a slit across my neck?
