A Sickening Love
This mask is too tight,
I can't seem to get it off.
I put it on so long ago,
I never thought it'd get stuck.
It's been so long I can't remember,
I can't remember what I look like.
All I've known for so long is the mask.
But I've always fit the mask so well,
I can't seem to pull it off of me.
I put it on so long ago.
I put it on too tight.
It's form-fitted to me now...
Can anyone help me rip it off?
Please...
I'm begging...

I know that my hands are far too small to catch all the pain I would like to heal
But can't I try?
These hands are small and soft
But they are strong and have lifted up people before
They are unwavering in the coldest months
Maybe if I stretch my fingers wide enough I will be able to hold your pain
And even if I am not strong enough
I will hold you by my pinky
Like a promise
I will not let you slip
I will not let you slip
I promise
I pinky promise
I will not let you slip

A long poem is
Me...

A longer poem is
You and me..

The longest poem is
We both together.

Under the stark starry night
Listening to winds fight..

Our eyes staring into each other
Together we are lost in poetry...

Only accept what you cannot give.
Only expect what you can't receive.
Love is kind and marvelous. Believe.
You made me believe, love.
You made me. We need not
Answer why-s.

The past sorted out the stars tonight.
The same auspicious stars will arrange
The moments for tomorrow.
The same boat of time will be
Old enough for fireflies and
Crescent moons, somewhere,
On a majestic river in Bohol.

This spoon, this fork, this red
Straw on clear, perspiring glass of
Red tea, this ill-fated receipt,
The wooden tables and chairs
With uneven leg-lengths,
Those couples over there,
The lamps, the crew, the ambiance,
The long line at counter number 3,
The clock, that classic clock,
Especially, knows that--
That I love you. I love you,
Because you showed me how.*

~

Of worth, I wonder, oh I plead
This man of very simple means
Alone in truth my love does bear
If only you were here with me
~
A tiny touch of fingertips
Invokes desire to my glow
A brush against your supple lips
My blood a’ boil, starts to flow
~
So tight within your arms I see
My place, the world I long to share
O’ cast of shimmering moon beam
Now shines upon your autumn hair
~
Of eyes so dark, intense thy form
In prayers ago, to find me true
Cold winters fierce, I’ll keep you warm
To cry, I’m so in love with you
~
So am I worth what I so need
I stand before this evening light
With scars where once my life did bleed
An anguished soul of sorted sight
~
To dream in darkness shedding fear
Till death does come to find my day
I’m worth it if your love is near
Within my heart along the way

wet weather events are becoming rare
few of them venture to our location
we seemingly get not a goodly share

there is little or no precipitation
copious clouds don't form in rain bands
few of them venture to our location

so depleted of dampness these lands
yet acreages in England are sopping
copious clouds don't form in rain bands

we'd like lots of drops to be dropping
there's none to bring a beaming smile
yet acreages in England are sopping

the downpour provider walks not our mile
we look to the skies for some irrigation
there's none to bring a beaming smile

the soil's profile is lacking of saturation
we look to the skies for some irrigation
wet weather events are becoming rare
we seemingly get not a goodly share

Letting go of a flower petal
And the wind picking it up for a ride to the unknown
Feeling something in your heart as you realize a flower petal has so much more freedom than you do
It can be who it is without a care while you can't
And flowers are loved for it while you aren't

You stand there wishing for a second, for a mere second you wish you were that flower petal
Then you look down then around and walk away, maybe still wishing you were that flower petal or maybe having it change you forever
Have you ever had a moment like this.
