If you rock me down from a mile,
I'll still be smiling like a crazy fool
It might hurt me for a while
Coz I am not made of sheep wool

The hatred you flare from your gaze
Shows your inner most reflection
The invisible flames that blaze
Has burnt all my forward affection

There,
Chuckles a voice, only eyes could read
From behind the screen
Someone has planted a poisonous seed

I can feel the evil smiky grin, hissing
And your eyes fixed reading the fake
I purely feel your emotions, missing
For you've been long awake

The delicious words spoken in tongues
Seems,
More like a ******, pretending to be God
The enmity loads darkness in tonnes
And slithers you, with a lizard tongue sword

I've never seen you in such a state
It's now visible whose behind it all
You're just one of its bait
It's just fishing, from the otherside of the wall

The attraction is quite magnetic
As the devil now, sounds more like God
Making lives his slaves as pathetic
It doesn't seem, like it's bored...

Dark Places

There are words
trapped between
my memories and dreams.
I am learning
to capture them,
hold them close,
before setting them free.
I will no longer
hold on to words
that poison the love
within my soul.
I will shed light
in the darkest places
of my twisted memories,
and broken dreams.
~ I will ~

Hijab

And if you think I'm oppressed,
covering my hair with a silken headdress-

And if you think I'm forced,
beaten, to lengthen my sleeves and elongate my shorts-

And if you think I'm afraid,
cowering under the protection of black linen shade-

You 'most certainly take note of the society's improprieties,
that the abaya I wear is thrusted upon me,
that the niqab my sisters practice is only for he;

No. My hijab is my personality, my promise to honour my femininity,
to never allow anyone, any man, to use me;
I am a woman, a human, a feminist:
no man will control me.
just a setting-straight. or at least I think it is.

the religion I hold on to wholeheartedly is a religion of peace.
it's name itself,
Islam
means, peace.
our hellos and goodbyes
- Assalamualaikum,
are filled with peace.
we were taught to give away smiles as it is a form of charity.
we were told to love our brothers and sisters the way we love ourselves.
we were made to respect the old and love the young.
in our hearts, it is embedded,
the love for our Lord, Allah and His beloved Prophet Muhammad
- may peace be upon him.

yet people all around the world keeps on saying how this religion is
a religion of
terrorism
masochisme
radical
extremist
objectification
and oppression.

one good person symbolizes a community, yet not one bad person defines a community.

our era is filled with young, wise and mature people
18 and 19 years old thinkers
16 and 17 years old prodigies
all with different specialities and each one of them has its own jigsaw puzzle slot in this world.
use them, appreciate them, hear their voices, listen to what they are saying, look at what they are doing.

it is them who will take care of mother
earth in 10 years time,
it is them who will nurture the economy and the society,
it is them who will bring up the goodness in everyone until this world is great again.

thus, take good care of them.
love them, teach them well
don't burden their thoughts with ******* mentalities, wrong ideologies and more importantly
psychological trauma,
give them what they deserve

- more.
all is well
