Us humans are sensitive,
Over little things we cry.
Men walk up to a girl,
And unnecessarily shy.

At top of a skyscraper,
We feel the breeze.
But when little but vital moment comes,
We never sieze.

We come home from work
And are usually tired.
We work our *** off,
So we dont get fired.

Nothing's perfect,
Life's always flappy.
We think it's cruel
And start feeling ******.

We fear death,
But eventually we're all gonna die
Us humans are sensitive,
Over little things we cry.

We all have a dream,
But we stiffle our curiosity
We never take a stand
Or run against viscosity

We either live this world
Or we survive
We can have our dream life,
But we need to strive

A little true effort,
Can change who we are.
And one day we'll be stunned,
We've come this far

We can make our life worth,
Before we die.
Us humans maybe emotional,
But now we wont cry
I'm fairly new to the world of poetry, so not too good in rhyming and making perfect sense in what i write. But i try. Please do leave a feedback, even if it's not good. Would really appreciate it. :)

The first time that I saw his eyes I knew how much i will be broken at the end of the road
And I probably should stop falling for him ,I should escape those endlessly heavenly feelings
but that was hard all I did is getting more attached to him
It was so artistic how he controlled me
All I was thinking is how am so unthinkable around him..
He was warm
Smart
Loyal
Dangerous
Wolfie kind
My favorite kind
he did Burn every dark spot of my humen heart
I was so addicted to the feelings he made me to feel that I forget how much i'm going to lose under the line of my broken heart ...

The tears of a rose
Will soak and stain
They're from her heart
They're stored up rain

They come from heaven
To flow down thorns
They sing in screams
From her lips torn

They can be acid
To burn the bloom
They can be crystal
Reflecting moons

The rose will open
In dead of night
The tears from petals
Refract the light

They cascade down
Drop from the leaves
For her soul
She sits and grieves

For her soul
The drops fall down
They feed her roots
Under the ground

They bring her back
The legend goes
There's healing in

Tears of a rose

I was talking to a friend this evening. Praying with her. She just endured a tremendous life setback. Said she couldn't stop crying. This metaphor came to my mind. This poem is for my dear friend. It is my sincerest hope that it brings healing.

I'm really sorry i haven't been reading. I have excellent reasons, of which some of you are aware. I just don't want you to think that I don't care. I do. I just have a lot on my plate. Thanks for understanding.

From the framed picture hung on the wall
Two faces look nobly down
The faces of my grandma and grandpa
Taking me to the times gone by

Smiling at their wavering progeny,
They retell the saga of their blissful life
A life of selfless share and care
Inspiring generations in their travail

Curling back to times and climes primeval
I hear the sound of their footfalls aloud
In a humble dwelling, joyfully they lived
As children of the soil with hands full of toil

They worked together from dawn to dusk
Greeting every new dawn with fresher zeal
Their hearts were securely fastened in love
And had needs minimum and complaints nil

Two fountains that sprang from sources different
Had merged together before their early teens
Through wedlock they had been customarily bound
At a time when they hardly knew what it meant

Had played together as buddies for long
Until instinct made them man and wife
When fledglings were hatched in their little nest
They worked together never knowing rest

Hit by adversities hard, at times they sank very low
But with resilience, bounced back
And frugally saved every nickel and dime
To meet the needs of their growing household

They tottered together in the evening of their life
Serving as prop to each other when about to fall
In their twilight years, ambling the corridors of memory
They reminisced sweetly the joyful events of life

Now they lie together in the same churchyard
Two streams that evenly and tranquilly ran side by side
Never once been shattered on the rocks and shoals of life
Making one wonder if their life is History or Fable

In the swelling magnitude of our life
Though trivial was their share
Yet they stay as beacons of light
Leaving a trail of light to blaze our paths
A century back, child marriage was so common in India. My grandma was only nine and my grandpa was hardly 12 when they got married.  They were children of the same neighborhood. They lived long and were happy together fighting with the soil and staying solid through the joys and sorrows of life. Life was not easy for them. There was not even electricity. They were ready to adjust to the hostile circumstances.....!

How to praise her
No dictionary will have words to praise her
Sacrifice

Though its not a sacrifice
As she thought us
As her eyes

But it is not wise
If we guys
Have not raise
Her praise
Praise your mom everyday
And raise your strand in everys way
