Little masons building, little masons killing
Little masons yielding, little masons wielding
Their swords, tools, and daggers to construct
A wall between trees, as one deconstructs

Little masons like little demons, propelling
Little masons like little ******, love-quelling
An oceanic romance between weathered trees
Leaving broken branches, making debris

Little masons performing their duties
Little masons collecting their rubies
For the hard-work they did today
Leaving two tongue-tied trees slain

Little masons dividing throbbing hearts
Little masons throwing away broken parts
Little masons complete with rapture
Little masons impede love's capture

Little masons like homogenous poles
Little masons making holes in two wholes
WIN
In order to
make it so
First be able
to see it.

I shall win
I will it
I will win
it shall be.

a
WIN
There are times in your life when you see things clearly. When you can make anything happen. It is a function of survival...stress, thought. At that moment when it all comes together in your mind. There is a second moment when the consequences of your actions to another become known to you. The choice is yours alone.
Dig your nails into my skin and pull apart my flesh
Pick me into pieces and shred my every breath
Beat my blood like morning eggs and take your rightful pound
Spin my head and shake my legs but I won't make a sound
I wish to age like a wrap-around porch
In a thunder storm,
While generations tell tales,
Sipping drinks.
A porch of blinking stars,
A shelter out of rain,
With ascending and descending friends.

I will age like a tree,
Grow stronger in the wind;
Give shade and shelter to all
Beneath my ring-aged limbs.

I wish to age as a river bends,
Contiguous with all shores;
Floating everyone I know
On eternal waters,
A current winding with no rest.

I will age like a star,
Burning bright, giving light,
Something to reach for.

I wish to age like a mountain,
With secret caves and riches.
And you can rock your soul
Around, over or through,
Solid, snow-capped summit,
Beckoning you.

I will age as the moon,
In stages, full and new;
Each night different,
Unnoticeable fading,
As all who age will do.
Thank you all very much for your thoughtful, insightful and kind comments. It's a wonderful surprise and honor to be chosen for the daily, as there are so many **** good poems written by the poets here every day. And especially a sleeper like "I Will Age." I guess it's a lesson to be learned. Thanks again to everyone, and especially to Hello Poetry for giving us this marvelous opportunity to publish.
Peace to All.

Merida
Most have already experienced it
Like the sun's burning heat
The spark when you saw someone
That makes you think He's the one.

The goosebumps
The heart's humps
That makes your heart win the race.
But of course...
There will always be a source
A source that will destroy the force
A force that may lead to scorch.

You saw me
You smiled at me
You texted me
Like a bite of bee
It hurts...
It burns...
Thoughts that still echoing on my mind
That you aren't kind
That you are evil
Like a devil
That always wants trouble
To make problems double.

You gave me a love potion
That made my heart poisoned
You left me hanging
Like an open door banging
And I held the door
That keeps screeching on the floor
I knew it
In just a little bit

I saw you
I looked at you
And for the second time
It happened
Not love
But hate
At second sight.

Raven
he wastes
no time,
finds
no light
in the sun,
quiet tempered,
feels the temperature rise within.
that blazing star holds
no importance,
no longer.
