i camped out all night
just to catch sight
of your morning yawn
calling on the break of dawn
do not think i did not see
the moons reluctancy to leave
or the suns lustrous grin
at your appeased skin
if i asked your name
would you push me away
to be your friend, i aim
i will wait forever and a day
oh, please tell me your name
my thoughts exclaim
love flowers safer than other
Our eyes meet discreetly.
The eyes speak without sound.
The minds cross notions,
whilst words remain unspoken.

Lips linger & tease movements,
but protrude no noise nor speech.
Subtle gestures test the receiver,
of parallel human beings -
embodied in each second passed.

The minutes move.
Silence dictates the situation.
Yet speaks volumes.
Tension is non existent;
hanging upon one another breath alone.

If a pin dropped it would remain unnoticed.
The power of pupils stare unbroken.
Outspoken with closed mouths zipped.
Ventriloquist gift with no sound.

A desire to say so much, sweetheart.
Selflessness cherishes special situations.
Evanescence essence to appreciate the present.
An hour passed through the hour glass;
not slow,
not fast,
just perfect please.

Holding back but content.
A contest of cat and mouse.
Chasing thoughts through clairvoyance,
clarity achieved without a lifted finger.
A smile lingers adoringly.

A rush of blood and rosy cheeks.

A secret meeting of two human beings - M A M I H L A P I N A T A P A I
One of my favourite words i've come across inserted into prose.

In the name of love

We see light
In every dark

The world seems to be angry...rebelling
Waters rise, and flood the surfaces
The earth opens its mouth and just swallows
Skies are turning darker
Some areas never see light
Thunder gets to be louder,
Lightnings are fiercer,
It's not surprising when they spew fire,
People die fast, some old, some very young
Babies are born by the second
Their futures unknown,
Their safety compromised
Not a pleasant scenario
And yet, we still look up to the Heavens
There is love...there is hope.

When we are in dire straits,
When nothing, or no one can be swayed,
Some light, or somebody
Will pave the way towards a resolution
Or a compromise to start on.
Amidst a tumultuous crowd,
There is space found
There is air to breathe
We pray
We make peace rule the heart and mind
Ahead...and behind,
Because of love
Every hurdle could be overcome,
Things would be fine!

On a morning after the storm
When the gray sky refuses to become white,
Somehow, a little sun tries to peep with a shine,
To smile... shyly on us.

In every dark
We see light

In the name of love.

I pour myself into
your glass each night,
a toxic taste, I beg
for you to choke on.

You drain our bottle
dry, drinking desert
laps but still thirsting
for Pacific oceans.

Delving into firework
taste-buds, savouring
how we spill so easily in
nights drunken palms.

Telling me I'm cheap
stuff, liquid eyes that
keep you sober, but are
still a tempting sip.
