I was hungry
and you gave me bread of life
I was thirsty
and you gave me living water
I was lonely
          and you said to me
"I will never leave you nor forsake you"
I was tired
          and you gave me rest
I was afraid
you said "fear not, for I am with you always,
even unto the ends of the Earth"

Everything I need comes from you
Thank you Father

Don't go across the world for me
Because I will only find a way to make you leave
Even though my sadness is too hidden to see
I promise you, some nights I find it hard to breathe

Don't set yourself, on fire to make me smile
Because after a while, I will decide it's too hard loving someone who gives me what I desire
And I will only want you to go the extra mile
Though it's shocking to me that someone could love a person so dire.

Don't blame yourself, because I can never trust again
Because I run away from anyone who sees through this grin
And all I think about in this brain
Is that you didn't feel like loving an entity as vile as me was a sin.

I find the truth
Causes suffering
And
We exist
Within as many
Lies
As it takes to
Barricade
Ourselves from
The heartache
of truths

I rely upon the smile to deceit
For every person it's a repeat.

They talk to the smile and it replies
While I watch, as they eat the lies.

They compliment and gesture
The mask smiles and responds, so pure.

No one sees the face from under the mask
With the flawless smile seemingly everlast.

It takes a person with the same painted smile so see the darkness behind.
As it brings upon the pain that will make your thoughts rewind.

It takes the same smile to know what has to be done.
To remove each other's mask and say that you have won.

I sit here and re-read what I have written down.
My smile agrees, but with a frown.

"The radio music invaded my mind.
It brought me to a place i left behind.
Our glory days were filled with so
much fun, the song came to an end, but
the memory had just begun."

the love that gets you excited just thinking about the very fact that you might actually get to spend the rest of your life with him

the love that makes you stomach feel funny and your heart flutter every time he says something about your smile, or the way he talks about your laugh

the love that makes your knees weak just at the thought of his name, the kind that makes your bones tremble when you see him for the very first time

the love that makes you want to fly when he holds you in his arms, and the kind that makes you forget what home was before you met him

the love that drives you up the wall, but the very kind of love he fills your heart with, when you're up that ****** wall

the love that makes you look forward to waking up each morning, the love that makes you want to achieve goals your heart didn't even know you had

the love that fills your eyes with tears with each I love you, the same love that turns your tears into cheeky smiles with each I love you

the love that frees you

the love that makes you feel like you're walking on the ******* moon as you stroll down the street,

but mostly, *the love that keeps you alive
for you, my sunshine.

"pain is crawling all over my body, consuming me until there's nothing left. nothing but me reminiscing in the past where I was happy."
