I love to watch you play
Hear the sweet notes drift out of your saxophone
A lovely melody

You don't always see me
I listen all the same
Such lovely skill
escaping in the form of sound
coming out
of that wonderful saxophone

Maybe it's not the sound
That enchants me so
But the handsome player
Whom I get to call my own

My gorgeous love
Smart and talented to the end
<3
I love my saxophone playing boyfriend, It's nice to date fellow musicians, even if the instruments vary.

Boy I hope you find a God
In everything you do
I hope you learn
Theres something worth praying to

Whether you worship in a chapel
Or in the sheets of your bedroom
Be it Nature you find Holy
Or a woman of artistic Virtue

I hope you find peace
In the mouth of a Tigers cage
I hope you fall to your knees
Over something lovely one day

Whether you find a God
In a tornados twista and bends
Or you hear a prayer
Where the red, dirt road ends

I hope you fall in love
With all the little things
I hope you see the world
And hear the song it sings

And pray every night
To the moon and the stars
Find your God in forests
Or driving fast, red cars
Theres so much to be in awe of in this world. Whether your God is named Jesus or Nature. Whether you pray to Heaven or the girl in your bed. Whatever it is, hold onto it. We should all have something worth praying to.
I had to look up
the word
'dating'
on Urban Dictionary
because I didn't know
what we were,
what we are.

And it said things like
'a socially acceptable
form of prostitution' and
'feelings of
puppy love that usually
dissolve
in a few weeks'.

But this is
not
puppy love.
This is not going to
dissolve or
fizzle out or
whatever,
you're not a
fizzle
you're a *******
fireworks display.

And you turn
everything in my head
into this
multi-coloured
turbulence and
I can't keep up with
how much I
adore you.

But the thing is
I don't know
if your view
is as good as mine.
What if you're
looking at something
a little less
beautiful.

What if I'm your
fizzle.

What if I'm as
temporary
as the flame you use
to light the
cigarettes
you find more
addictive
than my touch.

If that's the case
I'd rather
I left you
craving.

Because
if I'm your flame
you're my
forest fire
and you're burning
it all down until
the only thing left
standing is
you.

And I'll walk for
miles across this
carpet of ashes
just to feel the
softness of your skin
against mine.

And I'll cough
and I'll splutter
on toxic smoke
but you'll just
breathe it in because
you never realised anything
was even
lost.

You don't see me
crawl
you just know that
I'm here,
I'm here
I made it
I'm yours
I'll always be yours
because there's
nothing else
left.

And maybe
I can be
content with that
if only
you will see
that
you could burn down
everything
and I still
wouldn't put you
out.
Sometimes you make me happier than anyone else
Sometimes you hurt my soul
Sometimes, sometimes.....
No, all the time I love you so much more than time
Sometimes you make me feel so loved
Sometimes I feel like I'm not enough
Sometimes, sometimes
I wonder if you'll always be mine

Sometimes I think to much about you and I
Sometimes I have to wonder why
Why this feeling in my heart
Grows with the doubts in my mind
Like weeds that destroy the flower beds

Sometimes the weeds win
Overpowering the flowers
Sometimes the flowers prove stronger
Snuffing out the weeds
Will our love be stronger than my doubts like the beautiful flowers beating the weeds?
Sometimes I hate myself for loving you
I put so much of my time to you
Pour out my heart and soul to you
But do you care?
I don't think you do

Maybe I should stop trying so hard
It doesn't seem to be appreciated
But my heart just won't let me
It screams at me to try harder

But what do I get from you?
Tender moments sweetly shared
But will you always be there?

If one day I stop trying so much
Would you stay?
Sometimes I'm unsure if you would
But forever yours I'll remain
You walk me out
Into the cold moonlight
It's time for me to leave

I dont want to go home
