Some say fear holds you back.
That it shouldn't rule your life.

Some say they laugh in the face of fear.
But fear is a powerful thing.

Some say once you face your fears,
There's nothing that can stop you.

I say fear has saved me bloodshed.
It's kept me out of the hospital and the morgue.

I say fear keeps me in check.
Fear keeps me sane.

Fear keeps me from ******* up my wrists so bad that I pass out on the ground.
I bring that knife to my neck and that little, tiny voice says HELL NO!

So I don't laugh at fear.
And I definitely will let fear hold me back.
Because fear gives me something to shine through.

I lay awake at night,
You fill my thoughts and my dreams.
I'm thinking of you now,
How you will appear in my dreams,
As you have countless nights before.
The night will consist of cuddling fallowed by hugs,
Perhaps a kiss too
If I'm lucky.
The way your soft lips will meet mine,
Making me warm and calm,
Yet I am exited and filled with joy.
My emotion just growing more and more
I feel as if I'm going to explode with joy and shout
"I'm the luckiest man alive to have you"
But, then I wake up
It was all a dream and you are still on my mind
I began to remember the way you hurt me and left me to suffer
I still love you though
With no logic or reason I love you and always will...

You make me know how it feels
To be breath taken

i know you
your eyes tell your secrets to me
& when your eloquent lips
touch mine
they speak
in a language
that only i can understand

you have a strength that overwhelms
inner beauty that mystifies
& a peace that fills my soul

you are bronze, beautiful
& irrepressibly mine

but when you are weary,
i will give you rest
quench your thirst for compassion
& dry your tears with my kisses
for this woman knows
the remedy to your troubled heart
& dispirited soul

i scream into your ear
and you pull my hair harder
just before releasing
you say, "i love you"

what the **** is a love poem?
poetry is your skin
freckled up and down
but stopping at the shoulders,
halting eternally

our forever is speckled
across your pale stomach
our always is rushing
through your perfect veins
flooding your system

love poems are the words
you spit frequently
passionately, and honestly
blowing them out
like o's, o's, o's

love poems are repetition
but different
"i love you" manifested physically
my hands wet from tears
washed off your cheeks

are you feeling okay?
since i've been yours,
i am whole, complete, full
of love that drips
down my wrists

not blood, but you are mine
yes blood, she is ours
do you melt in my arms
or do i melt in yours
first?

simultaneously, we pour out
our concrete breaths,
heavenly and madly at once
like the love poems
you write upon my lips

It's been a day or maybe a few,
That I haven't heard from you.
It's not exactly depressing yet,
But I know I'll cry soon, and get-
Cold sweats.

It's not like you'd care,
You don't give a ****.
I'm just sort of there,
To you, I'm throwing a fit.

And you say I have no right to.
Well what did you expect me to do-
When you're telling people such hyperbole?
Your mispresentations have flustered me.

I've never met someone so treacherous.
I trusted you and you put on a display,
Which I must say was completely impetuous.
Where did you come up with such nonsense?

I guess I never meant anything to you,
I feel like I was just a fill in for others.
Others whom you actually befriended,
Or maybe they're just like me.

Discovering that you're really a bully.
An emotionally abusive person.

Just as my foot steps in sand
Are washed away by incoming waves

As the dust in the air fades away
My visions of you are just now dreams

Now these dreams of  you
Are now only thoughts

For I have now forgotten your name
And your not even a thought

Time has past and I try to remember
A good time with you

Which I now feel is impossible thought
