history is a comedy

the world was flat
we were at the center
there was no such thing as atoms or molecules or bacteria
god existed
it’s all very funny now

He feels,
               she has
a hand worth holding,

he’d call her beautiful,

but he fears
                  but he fears,

she would reject him,

so he says nothing,
            
            and walks away.

i want you to feel
how's it feel to be happy with me
are you happy?
or
is it hurt you?

you don't even say a word
because
you can't describe things in a word
then
why don't you just prove it?

have you ever cried at the dining table? until you want to broth to your food with your cry?

it hurts knowing you're not what they expected. but, you don't want people to know that.

so, what you have to do? nothing, you just have to endure the crying.
and i understand, it really hurts your heart.

She said "I'm falling in love."

I said "I'm falling apart."
