Jiya
A pane of glass whispers to me
The sound soothing with each cut to the skin
It says ‘I’m your friend!’, as it goes deeper into my body
It slowly reaches my mind, with little slits forming in the matter
What have you done my friend?
What have you done...

This is me
I am male
I am tall
I wear glasses
I have a short beard and hair that's receding slightly
I have a slight face
I am quite broad
I have poor posture
I have a rural accent
I like to laugh
I like to speak
I love to listen
I hate that word
I like your opinion
You gave me a nice drink, thank you
This is nice, isn't it?
I've travelled a bit
Where have you been to?
Ah yeah? I'm at uni too
Cool, nice to meet you.
I have poor posture
I have a slight face
I have a short beard and hair that's receding slightly
I like to smile at strangers leaving
I am tall
And that's it.
An exercise in reaching others. This is what I imagine people meeting me for the first time see, the order they notice things about me, and what that's like. An exercise in reaching other poets.
What would you say you are like to other people? Let me know with your own version :)

In the silence of my soul
I listen to a beautiful song
I see your eyes have secrets too
That your lips so fiercely guard
Yet your heart speaks to mine
Fearless as they are
Their language we don't understand
In silence, they sing to each other
A song without words
It's the thought of being alone when together
And the longing, when we are apart
That the soul feels glad about
But the heart is a fool to know
It wants to dance in madness
Of this strangely beautiful sadness
And it cares not for any silence
For it's been waiting too long
For the one that knows it's song
So it dances in ecstasy
In the belonging and the distance
For it doesn't know the difference

Alec
Your voice spools like satin
Do you know that you sound amazingly attractive?
Syllables curling around my ears
Speaking words you find dear.

My heart flutters lightly
If you were here my blush would be unsightly.
Yet it’s not ****** at all
Instead to sleep I’m lulled.

Just a chapter
If i was a cat i would gladly purr
Curled up with you
Stealing your warmth to escape the gloom.

You’re busy reading out loud to me
The stars in my eyes go unseen
The scenes in my head
So much more vivid than if i had read instead.

I want to read with you
To fall asleep to your voices serene tune
Cuddle myself safe within entangled limbs
Through the sea of soft syllables i swim

The words twirl down from your lips
An ambrosia i happily sip
I lose myself in your voice
But i refuse to leave you, my smartest choice.
Power of social leafs
Simple crust of my heart weeps
In the crowd of loneliness
Swimming to please magnetic ambience...
Perfection varies person to person...
Hence fog of dawn... jumples...
Fumbles and walks of life...
Puzzles in the solved unsolved clear doubts
Evolution of mind and society...
Pysco social turmoils
Heart becomes stones of weekness and
Pumps materialiscally emotionally

Yet walks of life...
Numbness speaks...

Depends upon left and right brain
Sometimes with or without heart connection

I will play you a soulful score
with your strings like never before
the fingers touch your delicate silky skin
will set ablaze your every sin.

He will have the kindness
That will impress
All the darkness
left behind him.
