 May 2020 The Fire Burns
Puck
Sometimes I wish life to be
A little different than it is
I would rather run with stars
Collecting light instead of money
I would rather drown in minds
Exchanging words instead of worry
I would rather smell like life
Inhaling air instead of numbness
I would rather sound like music
Wander together not alone
Like Covid 19 Love has no religion,
It does not discriminate,
Whether it is white, brown, yellow or black,
It does not require visa,
It just comes uninvited,
Love blooms you,
Covid wilts you.

Her eyes were the oceans
So very wild, so untamed
I let them drown me
Haiku no.4, danger can be sweet

Cana
They whirl and swirl and dive
But do they?
The no see ‘ems, You can’t see ‘em
but you can feel them there
Cavorting and frolicking, invisible in the air
A dinner time dance, gluttonous splurge
You’ll know all about their evening soirée
When you discover the main course is
… You.
Stupid bugs. Biting my legs. I look like a ****** addict that can’t tell his legs from his arms.

i want to know
how to unknow you
Tonight: I wish all of this, and all of some people, never happened. I am tired just for tonight.

(j.m.)
between u and me
and the secrets i keep
and the love we have for each other
the only fights should be over
whos gonna kiss who first every morning!
Dead leaves passed the oak
Saying goodbye, their lives were
Just not meant to be-
Chewbacca never said a word
But we always know what he meant
