i'm afraid to be awake at night alone
not because of the darkness in my room or the monsters under my bed
but the darkness in my heart and the monsters in my head

Ive met many cool people on here and they've all been accepting but the two that have really stood out and been there for me is my friend storm and my friend olivia. Although storm and I don't talk much he/she is an awesome friend and I don't know where id be without him. As for Olivia although we don't talk anymore she was always there cheering me on and helping me out with my poetry. I miss her a lot and I wish we could still be friends but due to circumstances she couldn't and that's okay because for the time being I have learned whay having true friendships really mean. As well as being fully accepted. Everyone has never made me feel bad about my writing or who I am. So thank you all especially my two friends

it was in glasbury-on-wye (wales),
school trip,
two teams, driven out of the
house we were staying,
i was in team no. 2,
we were given the assignment
to read maps...
team no. 1 got dropped off
at a shorter distance to the
house we accommodated...
my team was dropped further afield...
getting out of the mini-bus
i got the map... and just asked
'where are we, on the map?'
'here,' said the driver's index finger.
i figured out a shortcut,
via the fields, the forest, via cow grazing
patches...
we beat team no. 1...
but the moral of the story?
i still think you need to be greek,
i.e. you still have to "believe" the earth is flat...
a flat earth makes sense with directions
like east, west, south, north...
i cruised the team to an early victory
rotating the map in my hands...
i wasn't being ignorant...
i wasn't being competitive...
but to be honest i had one thing in mind...
copernican east? copernican west?
huh?!
how can you work that one out?
i know copernicus was right to stress
the earliest signs of an anti-heliocentric way of seeing,
but if there's no lucifer looking at a 2 dimensional
map of the earth... geocentric improvements
don't really help to just argue rather than get from
a. to b.; what good is geocentric copernican east
to my flat plateau need to co-ordinate a group
of people? heliocentric copernican east is
geocentric east, west, north south put together,
given the earth's orbit and the expanding universe...
geocentric my ***... i had to turn into a inverse
heliocentricity... i had to navigate on a readable flat
plateau, moving the map one way up
one way the other... and we got there... beat
the other team... didn't push any cows onto the pasture...
so that's how lucifer read the map.

Dancing aroung the camp fire.
Listing to the sound of the world

Spinning around and around.
Just to fall to the ground.

Laugh on the grass that is cold.
But you keep me warm, making you gold.

We tell stories about love and loss.
And talk about how we don't give a toss.

I turn my head so I see your eyes.
And see the inner depth of your souls lies.

You tell me you wish you could freeze time.
That for it to go on it would be a crime.

Then you place your hand on my cheek.
Making my knees feel weak.

I place my hands against your chest.
Knowing this is the only place I can rest.

We lean in together.
Wanting each other.

Then I feel your soft lips.
And your hand move to my hips.

And I pull you closer to me.
Because you make me feel free.

You pull back just a bit.
And pull me in your lap, were we sit.

Brush a piece of hair from my face.
And speak softly about this beautiful place.

And the you say.
You wish you could take it away.

But at home there is enough beauty to see.
When you look up and see me.

No problem can be solved from the same
level of consciousness that created it.
~~Albert Einstein*

Perhaps this ranks with his
revolutionary relativity..
Pointing to the futility
of dualistic searching
in all times
especially ours
as confrontation
and violence
paint our lives..
Transcending to the
level he mentions
is to discover
new being
with separation
slinking away from
a lighted fire...

It's easy to stay in love with the memories,
Leaving all trace of reality behind.
With moments of joy and bliss wrapped around you,
The feeling of leaving is never fine.
They creep and crawl,
Wanting your return.
In this it's easy to learn,
How these memories ******.
Every moment after,
Time after time.

Resolutions hold great importance
In our mortal lives;
But we do not need to wait
Until December 31st to thrive.

Resolve daily to better yourself,
Inch toward being who you are destined to be;
Choose to improve your flaws and
Never settle until you fulfill this plea.

Progress is everything,
For who would want to live, then fall,
Only to realize
They never lived at all.
