i look up at the sky
in search for stars
but instead,
i see darkness.

darkness has concealed
all the bright spots.
they use to give me hope,
but now they're gone.

if only
i could take away the darkness
and bottle it up.
so that i can see stars
up and shining again.
a poem for my friends who used to light up my sky.

Where is the line
Between
Perfection and Insanity
So many are told
They have a mental health
Problems
I think
We don't have enough
Artists
To make this perfect world
A little more
Insane

i yearn for a love
that does not exist
a love so rare
it would not fit

it would turn
my skin on fire
it would make
me feel alive

i would dance
and i would not care
the prying eyes
how they would stare

oh how i wish
for no guidelines to exist
for a love so rare
it would not fit

Stop looking for someone to settle you down.

No.

Meet someone to stay wild with

And *run.

it can either be
the greatest gift
or the most
painful response.
I haven't been writing short poems lately. Feels good to get this one out.

Keep breaking my heart,
it'll only make my writing

I like it.
I like being here.
With my face down lying on my stomach.
Breathing.
Feeling.
Listening.
Being.
There could be a storm outside.
I wouldn't care.
As long as there is silence inside,
There's nothing I can not bear.
