You Laugh
Hisham Alshaikh Jul 2018
You laugh
Angels weep out of jealousy
Devils have no single conspiracy
Demons dancing in harmony
Men hearts go broken with no remedy
Women eyes tearing continuously
Violins break out of envy terribly
Composers have no more creativity
Music plays with no melody
Silence starts listening joyfully
Happiness laughters left in agony
Beautiful words describe nothing but misery
Tulip flowers become colorless shamefully
Believers lose their faith immediately
Infidels drop their convictions instantly
Hearts start beating rapidly
Lungs oxygenating quickly
Living ones laying listening carefully
The dead come back miraculously

You're Beautiful
Hisham Alshaikh Jul 2018
You are beautiful
You are tremendously beautiful
You are marvelously beautiful
You are astonishingly beautiful
You are magnificently beautiful
You are breathtakingly beautiful
Inner and outer

You are beautiful
You are the definition of Beauty
Or shall I say, what is Beauty compared to you
What is Beauty compared to you ?
It feels shy and ashamed when I describe you
A weak meaning it has when I describe you
A meaningless meaning it has when I describe you
Never existed it wishes when I describe you

You are beautiful
For your beauty I searched
Every language ever lived
And every word ever existed
And the romantic era that occurred
Could not find a way to describe your beauty
Could not find a way to tell the world about your beauty

You are beautiful
Vocabulary will be invented
Words never existed
To the dictionaries will be added
In the dictionaries will live
In the lovers tongues will breath
To describe your beauty
The one and the only beauty
The living and the dead will forget about Cleopatra
Because your beauty is ultra
A new period will start, The Beauty Era
Your era

Glimpse of Your Eyes. Version 1.
Hisham Alshaikh Jul 2018
Was it love? or was it an arrow?
My heart, you took, left me in sorrow
Your heart, may I borrow?
Till death, I will keep, not returned by tomorrow
My fortune is narrow
That what left my heart hollow
And my face sallow
Your secret, I revealed, left me feeling shallow
Running in agony in the furrow
Towards the nearest tree, willow
With no one fellow
Sitting on the branch lonely with my shadow
What a blue life! Thought it would be yellow!
Memories of you are my softest pillow
Such emotions, I shall not allow
Your fingerprints, your footprints, your trail I will follow
With all of my might, we become the lovers of the morrow
The pill of hope, I will swallow

You Have Gone
Hisham Alshaikh May 2019
You have gone
And left me wishing to die
So my soul leaves my body utterly
And flies to where you stay and stays

There it stands in one of the room corners
Leaving the entire universe on pause
Doing nothing, but looking at you
Observing your details closely
Amazed by your expressions
As the first time

There it stays
Looking at that wide beautiful smile of yours
Makes any pain fades away
Brings calmness to the soul
You’re the happiness and joy

And I’m always zoned out far away
When your hair slips from your ears
Then you tuck it back behind your ears
With that alluring glimpse of yours
A combination to melt the soul

All I can say is that you’re an angel
In the form of a human being
Sent to this planet earth
You’re all of the kindness in this world.

Wherever you dwell my soul resides
And my soul the heaven ignores
And with you, it lingers
Since it is paradise with you

There in your place
My soul kept casting spells
To return to the body of mine again
To be able to hold your hand
In the wide open green land
Under the beautiful blue sky
Leaving the world against our backs
And never let go

There we stand
Holding hands
Looking at each other in the eyes
With no one word is spoken
Watching our dreams become unbroken
While the flowers around us
Blooming with our love

There in the green land
We stand
Under the rain
To let it wash the pain
And heal the wounds
Of the troubled past away
And I am the one to blame

There in the open land
We feel the wind
Gathering the scattered pieces
Of the broken heart of yours
Piece by piece to a complete one
And then let the light of the shiny sun
paints it in gold

There in the wide land
Sitting on a flat ground
My head in your lap
And cradled in your arms
Hearing the echos
Of my anguished heart screams
Surrounding us

“Do not walk away
I am imploring
Don’t keep walking
While I’m yearning
Because until I cease beating
In agony, I will be burning
Let the past to rust
And then turned to dust
With a new start
Your heart and I, in harmony will beat
And with love, we will breath
On repeat”

Look at the beautiful river over there
And how it flows everywhere
Formed by my tears
Of shame and regrets
Crying over what was done
And what we could have become

Feeds the plants around
They grow
They flower
With my love to you
The River of Sorrow,
Wouldn’t it flower love in your heart again?

The sun goes away
And the moon comes back again
To remind us of our long nights again
And to witness our chemicals collide again
And that our love will come back again

The stars of the night staring at us in the dim
They look at you and you look back at them
Like they know you and you don’t know them
You don’t know how much about you I talked to them
You shine my nights, you are one of them
And the brightest among them

The moon goes away
And the sun comes back again
You’re mine
And I’m yours
You’re my glory
And my greatest victory
And with you, I want to be
Until I die again

The Distance
Hisham Alshaikh May 2019
The distance
My heart does not seem to bear

Every night I stay lonely staring at the moon
And the majestic voice of yours, I conjure
The Distance.
