I miss you
Like the rain misses the blood in my veins

You know they say we are made mostly of water
I drown in you

She watches darkness
I see the light in you

I live in you
Petty phrases and lifeless eyes
forever
keeps getting shorter
while i
keep getting older

time
will
run
out
Like magic in a hat
Reach into nothing
Pull out a distraction
A game of smoke and mirrors
Couple tricks up my sleeve
A bouquet of flowers
Don’t expect them to be fresh
Maybe if you have a second stop and catch their scent
Stop fighting against
The brightening light
Surrender all to love

Gentle dawn
Tilts her head to a simple side
Just like a lover

Her embrace and longing kiss
Opening wider than a day is long
And a night is alive

With ease and gentleness alike
Her hand comes to rest
On my resting knee

As I gently reach for a single moment
Turned memory
Which can be savored for eternity
A Girl Named Sunrise, daughter of mother nature. Dawn for short.
Not Mary, never Elizabeth
My Anne Elliot
Marry me
Why do you tarry
Especially when I'm not longer at sea
Turned Captain - Persuasion

Which is probably the best of her works TBH
