Filled With Lessons Learned

You are born with the life God gives you
Will die with the life you've earned
So take the time that's in between
And fill it with lessons learned

Give yourself to others
Work harder then the rest
Live your life and do what's right
Just trying to do your best

Show the world something new
Give more then you take
Understand different points of view
And love more than you hate

Place a smile on a child's face
Make someone's dreams come true
Open up your heart and soul
And say more I love you's'

You are born with the life God gives you
Will die with the life you've earned
So take the time that's in between
And fill it with lessons learned

Time? It is but an attempt to measure the immeasurable
A cruel trick to plant seeds of fear and doubt
Into the souls of the ignorant and gullible
The god(s) do not favor the the meek
How could they relate to passivity
When action and reaction are the means
By which creation is established?

Why do you sit, begging at the altar
Rejecting what you are?
Were you not told you are a reflection
A beam of light refracted from the source?
What if all creators just sat there hoping, praying
For others to do their work?
Where would you be then?

You ask for favors without sacrificing your sweat
Your blood, your tears
And you expect in return something other
Than a hearty laugh and vicious rebuke?
You are a pathetic **** ant, human.
Granted power you refuse to wield
Why would we trouble ourselves to serve you?

We've already given all that there IS!

The simplest of my desires,
an ailment for these wounds;
They avoid me like the stars
were just fleeing from the moon.
Time has no mercy,
so precise in his plan,
because now was the then
when then slipped through a strand.
A novel of thoughts,
but no language for the pen.
Sinking skin and brittle bones,
when soul so lonesome spent.
The blood of every battle
spills the same as the last.
Buried with every loss
to relinquish the past.
Eaten by desire,
for a kiss on these wounds.
Hold me like the stars
stay aside the moon.
I pray for rain
So that I can place my head on yours
And together we can meditate upon the ambience of the soothing trickle against my window.

I beg for storms
So that we don't need an excuse to lie in bed for endless hours and stop time and the world, then lose our minds in each other.

Oh I hope it blizzards
Then we can snuggle under my blankets and get entangled amongst each other like glorious vines on a house.

I plead for thunder
Because then I could lay with you in the absolute darkness, and see the beautiful shards of light spark, and hear the thunderous roar as we lay excited clinging  on to the very bones of each other.

I dream of all this and more,
But for right now I just can't wait to see your face again.
For beautiful times, with a beautiful person.

The predator invading my thighs
did not care for words
It burned me with smug smiles
and cold hands,
carpet covered in dog **** pressing
against my back.
Turning my sanctuary into my
prison,
my own flesh into fear,
made my body need healing.
It punctured me with your venom
but no one has ****** it out yet,
trust me,

I've made them try.
They bombed Gaza
Gaza lived
Humanity died
and i'm not sure what's worse;
to be lonely with someone, or to be lonely without.
We only truly start living
When we find something
Or someone
We would die for
