How vile, how evil to live beneath your veil
Words are funny.
They always say that
Tomorrow might be better
But I'm still waiting
While the heavens wept
I gasped for air beneath the
Waters where I lay
Silence says much more
Than useless words we have said
Many times before
Our hearts may grow old
But won't ever be dulled by
The passage of time
Happy Thanksgiving from Canada to all Hello Poetry members! :)
I'm just a fool who
Would travel with monsters to
Learn to tame the beasts
I have always had
The compelling urge to leave
Where I feel welcome
If there were no edge,
Would you follow me in-
To oblivion?
