Madzq
Thought he would rise to the occasion
And slay all of her dragons.
Take her away to some fairytale land
  In a stone-made castle
    Built with his own hands.

And there they would stay
To the end of their days....

   But there's one thing
      Shell never understand....

There's no prince charming
  In her helpless little world.
No one's coming
  To rescue this poor girl.

She's all on her own
  Heiress to her own throne
A princess could be a queen
That's not afraid to stand on her own.

One day she'll realize
There's more to life than this.
He can't wake her up
  With his magic kiss.

Life's not limited
  To some storybook bliss.
So stop waiting around
For a (k)nights empty promise.
I originally wrote this for my mum. But honestly, it's for any woman out there who doesn't yet believe that she's strong enough to slay her own dragons.

“Why do I love” You, Sir?
Because—
The Wind does not require the Grass
To answer—Wherefore when He pass
She cannot keep Her place.

Because He knows—and
Do not You—
And We know not—
Enough for Us
The Wisdom it be so—

The Lightning—never asked an Eye
Wherefore it shut—when He was by—
Because He knows it cannot speak—
And reasons not contained—
—Of Talk—
There be—preferred by Daintier Folk—

The Sunrise—Sire—compelleth Me—
Because He’s Sunrise—and I see—
Therefore—Then—
I love Thee—

My love was lost on you
And all the **** you put me through
People come and go
Memories fade away
But you were never here in the first place
I was cheap entertainment
I was nothing special
It didn't take much to get me to fall in love
How foolish of me to think it would've been enough
For someone like you
Someone ****** in the head
And distorted in the heart
Someone who's lied their whole life
And ripped people apart
You say others sacrifice your happiness
All for the sake of their own
But it's the other way around
Since you say anything to benefit yourself
I'll tell you what
I sacrificed everything for you
My happiness, my sanity
And all you did was abuse it
I'm letting you go
You're not the person I thought you were
I gave you a chance when nobody else did
But the way you used me is borderline morbid
It will take a while
But in due time
You will no longer cross my mind

This is a story “For Those Who Have Heart” (A Day To Remember)
For “The Young And The Hopeless” (Good Charlotte)
This story will “Free Your Mind” (Anarbor)
It all began in a “Room On The 3rd Floor” (Mcfly)
We had “All That We Needed” (Plain White T’s)
And yet we were “Guaranteed To Disagree” (We Are The In Crowd)
“Oh No” (Ok Go)
It’s “Nothing Personal” (All Time Low)
But one of us was “Homesick” (A Day To Remember)
And the other had “Night Visions” (Imagine Dragons)
“Chasing Ghosts” (The Amity Affliction)
Til we “Collide With The Sky” (Pierce The Veil)
In a burst of “Red” (Taylor Swift)
You’ll always be “My Forever” (He Is We)
This is a story of “What Separates Me From You” (A Day To Remember)
And it’s going “Straight To DVD” (All Time Low)
Words are ****.
They make me want to rip a pillow with my teeth
Or marinate in a sensuous heat.
Where you'll be, sitting there.
Waiting to kiss my spine and touch my hair.
Tell me regaling tales of what you think.
Of what is rational or obsolete.
Worlds like Suggestive, Sarcastic.
Forlorn
and Bombastic.
Makes my skin melt and heart palpitate.
I will no longer settle for those who are adequate.
I need substance. I need someone (you) to say.
That you're enamored and beg me to stay.
I want that learned passion that only we
could portray.
Vocabulary lists are almost as good as ****.

...almost.
Ten
One pill was too little,
Two was just enough.
Three was to push the limit.
Four was to prove it wasn't a bluff.
Five was to be thin.
Six was for the hell of it.
Seven was to purge myself from within.
Eight was for my hipbones to stick out like knives.
Nine was to ensure that I might not wake up alive.

Ten little pills, she held them in her hand
Threw them all away, to let her spirit mend.
Supported by her craftsmen,
poets and good friends
She realized, she's not alone
She'll be strong once again.
Credit to Ana Sophia for the happy ending she gave me.
