Luxurious deviance
Leather and lace
Mooonbeams and razors
Blood in a crystal vase
My demons are longing
To feel your embrace
To seize you to me
With my hands on your waist
Our paths intersect
I breathe in the taste
Your panic sets in
As the clouds lay to waste
The rays of the moon
And you behold my face
Shrouded in bloodlust
With no saving grace
Luxurious deviance
Leather and lace
Not really sure. This poem was supposed to be elegantly dark like Morticia Addams but it turned into something else as I wrote.

Ezra the Poet
stains linger along the stretch of my chest
of drawers still sodden
and acrid.

minding my chill
drenched with that perpetual anathema

avidity breeds mindless self-deprivation
do you mind?

not really sure where this was going, might update sometime.
'avidity breeds mindless self-deprivation '.

It was the night of the crimson moon,
Maybe that explains,
The stir in the sea of emotions,
A wave of fear,
Then one of courage,
A wave of love,
Then one of indifference,
Crashing on the shore of the heart,
Logic threw boulders,
To avoid another crash,
But the waves, stronger,
Strengthened by the moon,
Overcame,
Submerged

I have this picture
In my mind
of a fairie
Sitting in the
Crescent moon
With her toe in a pond

STILL CAN'T SLEEP
Im dying inside.
My mind is dead from suicide.
And i swear nothing kills you like your mind.
And time by time the sadness never fades away.
And the sun?we aren't friends.
He never wants to play.
Never.
But the moon,oh the moon.
We're best friends!
Never apart.
When I'm sad, he's there.
When I'm happy, he shows me reality.
And I'm sad again.
And somedays I'm okay with that,
Other days I just don't want to be here.
Sometimes i feel like im worlds away from everyone, like i simply just disappeared.
And no one notices,
They never do.

his heart was cleansed by pure snow,
transient magic.

betterdays
looking down
at the grains of
sand
encrusted upon
my tide washed feet

i pause to ponder

how much older,
and far better traveled
these tiny chips of calcified
life and mountain grit must be...

now i have been to
many places....
L.A. Paris, London,
Dunedin, Melbourne
Hong Kong, Mooloolaba
to name but a few...

but these little bits of
seadust,
have lived lives
and lost,
have travelled
to and fro....
becoming ever...
smaller as they went....

shedding of themselves
to the greater entity.
becoming
one speck among......
                              bazillions

taken beyond their lives
of solidity by swirling
currents

only to end up as sand
upon my toes.
big thoughts for a friday night...

My friend is drowning
Drowning from the inside out in her own sorrow
She splits her skin to let the sorrow flow out of her so for a second
She can breathe
On those days when she can pull herself out of the sorrow all she can feel are rain drops on her beautifully soft hair from her constant rainy day
She believes I’m on the beach livin’ it up
With a Corona in my hand
And lazily holding a hand out for her;
The rain and sorrow has blurred her vision
Because I am in the water with her
Trying to pull her out
But sorrow is a sea monster
Yanking her down deeper and deeper
Into the darkness of her own mind
Where friends equal enemies and parents equal not understanding and they all equal non existent
She closes herself off until the world becomes nothing but darkness filled with predators
When those days come,
I want to be her beacon of light
Like a light house I will stand strong searching the oceans for her
I want her to know when the rainy days come
I will be there
Soaked from head to toe
For as long as she needs me
For as long she wants me
I want her to know that when the clouds wish away
And the sun peaks out
Shining on her beautiful skin
Reflecting in her gorgeous green eyes
That I will turn to her and smile a big Cheshire smile
And I’ll say I love you
And I will never leave you alone on a rainy day
Because we both know rainy days are no fun
Especially when you’re alone.
dedicated to my friend who is struggling with depression - i love you so much and im not going anywhere

Arrange my mind's galaxies and planets.

Sedate angry asteroids and burning comets.

Align for me my heart's constellations.

Clear the clouded nebulae in my intentions.

Turn the moon gently to look upon me,

So I may find the sea of tranquillity...

                              Tonight.
Clouded, dishevelled mind. Want peace...

Crossed wires of me
might be the
Margaritas?
Or the servility
   I bow, non-willingly,
to societal norms?
   I am healthy, physically,
just a swimmy head
   and lots of gas bloating
I swim floundering
at time to times,
  But, not guilty
I feel
   passionate dreams notedly
defy me particularly
        when I accidentally rhyme.
So conflicting
  this non-physical malady,
Paralyses like a Greek tragedy,
Sophocles, I need so badly,
   to diagnosis me.

Instinct inside of me,
in the most pious of men,
testifies to evolution
a reptilian brain stem,
procreate and populate,
the most fit,
Praise no God,
we are  human,
nature like dogs,
we follow passion and wants
blindly,
on autopilot, like flies
we are drawn to ****.

Devour the black the absence of light ,
feast on writhing victims veins,
blood is so energizing, to live upon blue
red, the darkest visions
viciously vivid,  melts
me
I become the void,
devoid of feeling
I look into her eyes,
enjoy her tries
to break free
and run
I pursue, no one sees..
I look in the mirror and see,
nothing but dark.

I add up all the plusses
subtract the middle fingers
divide by you and me
and decide it does not matter.
