A piece of my heart
Became my little baby
She smiles
Rainbows envelop me
She cries
I hold her
The universe in my arms

the fluffy dog
searching for the cone and stick
in the nearby park
plays happily with the wind,
neglecting the flow of time

cats at the table
purr at the poetry book
as if playing jazz:
furry philosophers
analyzing human art?

Returning the rain

We dance in the ashes like
Literary scavengers.
In the ruins and after rages
We draw the shreds of words and pages
Around our naked bodies like Blankets,
A quilt of the quintessential struggle
Which all people suffer

traces of being
although we may not

physically reach out

and feel , hand to hand ,

across far distant dimensions - -

Poetry is touching souls
though I have not been publishing much...I have greatly enjoyed the intimate sense, imbibed through quietly reading some amazing work

Thank You !

The past cried out a dire warning
  unlocking you from the moment

“History rules, the die is cast
  —the future of your discontent”

Fluid and soft
she will slip through your hands
like water

meant not to fill you,
but to help you grow.

She is not your rock
in a hard place

She is a tidal wave
that breaks at the receding.

She is not the light
That calls you close

But the warmth
That keeps
You at ends
With life

You've been there, sitting
quietly, wondering why
that time went away

you chose to be happy

feeling relieved and in peace.
feeling like your whole body
is filled with nothing purer than love.

breathe the magic.
and memorize every happy cell in your body
for bad days
