How do I.....
06/09/2020

How do I light a fire
In the pouring rain
How do I warm my heart
In the forest of icicles
How do I quell the demons
Hiding in the depth of my mind
How do I remain a human
In the absence of humanity
How do I .........

How is it that you have written a story about me
without even knowing me
How is it that you have translated my feelings
which I have no idea about
How is it that there are hundreds of words I've never used
describing my thoughts exactly
You have drawn me with a single stroke of brush
a replica the mirror can never make
is this my imagination or your imagination
who is creating me
?

Behind the brilliant light
that gifts life to our world
burns a collapsing force
fueled by the remnants
of untold millions of years
of pulverized matter
and dispersed gases,
excited and united by
the catalytic force
of Universal disturbance.

Dive into your veins,
past the deep red color of love,
zoom in until you can see
those entities that exist
within your blood’s flowing warmth,
and you will see Warriors
locked in Lacedaemon wars.

Be Open when you feel.
Be Whole when you act.
Life is no place for ideals:
Justice demands a Judge.

We must step onto our fields of battle
solemn and reverent,
willing to plunge our spearheads
into the chests of others
who will die staring back at us
through our own eyes.

If you cannot feel these truths,
turn yourself around
and break your spear in half
on your walk back home.

This thing called life is a series of experience
that colors our lenses on how we view the world

The unique shades we look through shapes our
perspective and makes our beliefs unfurled

Though we cannot look with other eyes
we can still try and see and appreciate their view

Tolerance and understanding will go a long way in
making the changes for this to come true

We have no way of knowing what others have experienced
in their past and with their own journey's of life

But we can make a promise to do better with how we
view these lenses in this time of strife

Every day
We become part of
Someone's memory
In a short moment

A glimmer in an eye
Just for a passing moment

Hearing kind words
Just for a quick moment

Reading encouraging script
Just for a thought provoking  moment

Everyday try to
Become a pleasant part of someone's
Lifelong memory
In a short moment
Take good care of the elderly
Keep them free from the cold
Give them a ring and you will see
Their worries will unfold.

They may be concerned about eating
And all their daily needs
Don't forget about their heating
And all there anxieties

We are living in times of hardship
And many are feeling down
So hold out your hand of friendship
Let them know you are around.

When they were in there infancy
They never worried about a thing
Never could they  ever see
Just what this world would bring.

Now there's something that is beautiful
And its a wonderful thing to be told
Lets say to the aged and vunerable
You are far more precious than gold.
There's lots of elderly who are lonely and many can be forgotten .
Well in reality we may not say to the elderly they are far more precious than gold. Maybe we can show it.It's just a thought. Ecclesiastes chapter   12 ;1-14.

Mirror mirror, though art an
Inspiration, much actually
Rests on your face
As all look up to you.
Go easy on the womenfolk
Engage them with some kindness.

Nothing changes
As the night burns
Into an unholy morning
Of despair,
A scream without translation.
American spring,
Killing season in Kentucky,
Minnesota, Carolina, Georgia,
New York.
Nothing changes but the names,
Mississippi, St. Louis, L.A.
Vigilantes and police,
Incendiary commentary by the chief
Executive
That fans the flames.
Nothing changes but the body counts,
God's sons' and daughters' stolen right
To breathe.
At least a fire gets seen.
