Carina
The gleaming moonshine on your hair,
fragmented star splitters in your eye,
your smile repainting supernova's glare
appoint you the ruler of my sky.
Experimenting with shorter lines :)
My moon drips silver;
Gliding from its craters, flown
Across galaxies

Alien beings
Stare at its state; leaking a
Peak at what it is

But the moon's just the
Moon to us; nothing more than
A dab to the sky

How I wonder the
Way y'all see it tonight; can
You find the beauty?*

~Or is it just the moon?~
I feel sometimes I underappreciated things I never really seem to think are so incredible...
All feedback is welcome :)

Ahh
Another poem about the moon
Don't worry
It will be out of fashion soon

Miracle Beyond Me
The yellow sickle moon
is hay in the barn, the way
that youth is exuberant
and death is wise.
The dogwood is a tree
full of butterflies -
so life strikes,
then death strikes.
In the calendar of life, fall
just a handful of holidays
perfect for the making of love.

immersed in the sea
a sphere of passion glitters
as the tide appears

Sjr1000
When peace finally comes
A softness in the winds
The fires are gone
The quiet has come
Except for the nightbirds
which sing their songs

The shadows get long
Children's egos disintegrate
Meltdowns fry the atmosphere

The skunks come out

Moonlight after twilight
Sometimes to linger
Call out to the coyotes

Get old but stay young.

Crystal Freda
the moon sparkled
like an angel in the sky.
it laced around the galaxy
as shooting stars fly.
night comes to an end
as dawn blossoms
like a marmalade rose
rising from the bottom.
day goes by
and night will appear again.
a lovely lunar will stream
all the light it can contain.
