Nevermind
Maybe there's a reason
Deeper than childish fears
That you tuck your feet under your blanket
And keep a nightlight near
Check the door twice
Look left and right
What is it about the night
That fills us with such fright?

We're afraid of the unknown
The darkness itself
could be home
To goblins our ghouls
Thieves or wolves
The darkness is the kingdom
In which our imagination rules

I feel happy
When you look at me
Because I know
For one split second
I was on your mind .

Life is like poetry every word you speak should come from the heart but if you don’t say what you mean then you’re wasting your breath. You speak with fear then you’re feeling scare, speak with sorrow then you get a tear, joy and happiness come with a smile. Words can attack your mind messing with your emotions feeling the madness speaking with aggression words are here words are there surrounding the world like breath of air. Be careful how you speak and what you feel words are everywhere and there are real, explore life and give poetry a try cause earth have emotions just like you have it within you.

If I told you that,
I can hold my breath for
Two and a half minutes,
You may ask,
"Why hold your breath when,
You live in a world filled with oxygen?"

I will always reply,
"It is so,
When life starts to drag me,
Beneath those waves,
I will survive
**That much longer."
I thought I had better follow the last poem with something more hopeful...
And I'll throw my weakness
Into your greatness
If this broken heart is all you want

Days like these
I say
I feel dead inside
but no
I have no feelings
I'm numb
like I
ran out of time and I wasn't finished
and now there's nothing I can do
I would have felt regret
if there were something I could have done
to stop it
but that was impossible so instead
I just feel nothing
except a faint illness
and an incurable fatigue
so truly tired
an indescribable overwhelming sense of stopping trying
and stopping pushing against it
so that my body
all of a sudden
feels like floating
His mind is empty,
And so is his conscience,
Shops are empty,
And so are streets,
Schools are empty,
And so are workplaces,
Churches are empty,
And so are beer halls,
Towns are empty,
And so are villages,
Food stuffs have taken refuge,
And so have masses,
Empty the word,
Empty all over,
An emptiness so full.

The trail to happiness isn't as close as it seems
To be exact it's 9175 miles away from me
Across the sea
Where the Kangaroos and koala bear sleep
Why does this pursing happiness
Have to be so hard
Why is it so far
I wish for it to be closer on shooting stars
But hope soon fades
With the star as it drag races across the sky
Dipping beneath the horizon
Forever lost in space
But I see shooting stars when I get a glimpse of your face
My heart races
When I hear your voice
For a moment happiness is near
But soon disappears
To be replaced my something we both fear
Doubtfulness
That happiness will ever be real

We're all little butterflies,
Some of us are bigger than others,
And some of us are tiny.
No matter what happens,
You have to keep going.
Life is the air we struggle to fly through.

The air is contaminated,
So some of us have a hard time breathing.
There are tornadoes,
Which the bigger butterflies can easily fly through,
While the tiny ones get swept away.
Life is something we all try to fly through,
But most don't survive.

Then there are the ones who like to capture us,
The ones we call "Society".
They put us in jars and we are confined,
There is no space to just fly and be free.
They like to judge us,
Watch us struggle to be free for their own entertainment.

Life is the air we fly in.
Society is the thing that confines us.
And we...
Are the butterflies who try to brave through it all.
Some survive,
While others don't.
I kind of tried ******* this one. Yet...it still *****.
