Do not call me when I am drunk
Words of love may reach your ears but do not blush because you are not who they are for,
Do not come to me when I am drunk,
Hand in hand we may dance, I may pull you closer and feel her,
Thorns and flowers appear the same to me when I am drunk
The ****** may hurt but let it
the rose is worth all the pain that this world has to offer
Do not follow me when I walk away
the footsteps I will leave behind will only lead to sleepless nights,
I will stagger through aisles, through dark alleys and reach the highway where it all ended
My world darkened as her blood ran black, as her ashes drifted and vanished in the river under the cruel winter sun
How many beloveds have you devoured?- I asked the highway

I admit that
Sometimes
I dream of peace
A purple sky
With a bottle of wine
A hazy window
Covered in a maroon cloth
On one side
Raindrops audible
But out of sight
Wooden walls and calm fires
A walk down a creaky hall
To read
I retire

The galaxy is awake
Through the sounds of the thunder

And I'm alive

Myriad colours breaking,

Universe into being,

Fields of wild flower.

beth fwoah dream
when you broke me the first time
i cried until the tears pooled
into the dark.

when you broke me the second time
i just broke you back for hurting
me so bad.

i break easily because i love
i break easily because i love you.

Winters dead tree, gloomy to life below,
It wants to come back,
So it reaches up to a black sky and with slender fingers.

It let go of its leaves when needed most,
The birds have left it no more substance,
It owns no fruit, the bark cracks as it freezes, it waits.

Not the sun, but a delicate light finds them,
In a blanket of death, and it embraces the earth and melts with the dirt,
And the bird simply finds another tree.

Freez deep your tiny nevrotransmitters and admit it!;)

Why do I fight for something,
for someone who's going to betray me?
You said you loved me,
you said you'd stay.

I told you my deepest secrets,
my deepest regrets,
my deepest fears,
you used them against me.

You fed me lies,
I never knew if you were honest,
if you ever told the truth,
did you ever really love me?

I gave everything to you,
you took it when you left,
everything I was,
everything I will be.

My heart,
my love,
my trust,
but the pain you left.

Being betrayed by someone
I never thought would hurt me,
and I let you use me,
but this time...

I give up.
I'm leaving,
walking away....
I will no longer be hurt by you.

I'm moving on,
and forgetting your name,
My heart may need to heal,
but my mind is made...

Good-bye
past love.

My heart was a mountain
So glorious and mighty
Towering above the clouds
Majestic and beautiful-
At least
That's what it used to be.
The wind and the water
Came along one day
Began to weather and wear it down
Slowly my heart was diminishing
As it eroded
And traveled elsewhere.
No longer majestic
No longer mighty
My heart is now only a hill.

Little boats bob
Big boats glide
There's life in the mud
An ancient church
And a pub on the other side

Wild flowers bloom in the sun
Protected by the churchyard wall
Inside rows of box pews facing East
Well maintained at least

Oddly laying at the back
A sarcophagus carved in stone
No doubt a gardener
Would value as a planter

No one comes these days she says
Pouring water in the font
Flowers ready
Only people such as us

Satisfied we sacrifice a coin
Pop it in the slot
Walk back past the tower round
The congregation underground
Through the lilting seabird song to find
Ham egg and chips and a drink
Just to wet the lips
It's the Summer time
