You are the moon
that listens to me
at 4 am
when I lie on my back,
looking at the ceiling
thinking
how we could have been,
how we were supposed to be.
But then again,
you are the moon
and I'm the human
and we're million miles apart.
I wish we were closer
So you say poems don’t sell
ain’t no buyer for your works
arduous hours of a job done well
go down the drain fetch no perks!

You’re right poems do don’t sell
though you fill them with heart’s spice
by the hour growing weary and frail
you surely can’t feel any nice!

A dollar a poem how fine it would be
add a dollar a read to it
but poems are meant to be sold just free
you aren’t to be paid for the feat!

But you’re wrong poems do sell
them the readers do buy
when to their heart your thoughts travel
and their spirit soars up sky high!

A universe caught in it's own diversity
like the wings of a butterfly
severed off during it's flight.
And as the Fall becomes apparent,
the leaves find changing colors a bit too
dramatic.
A melodic song, sung in the key of
freezing temperatures
but is longing its dear, blanc
sitting on the pavement.
A restless change in winds,
like a wave colliding into the equator.
A world too predictable,
like a dandelion
loosing all of its wishes.

But your voice grows flowers,
your eyes rip me apart,
almost like a ray of sun
hitting ice, and not becoming another
element.
Your heart takes me in one,
and starts to feed.
Your body is the source of life,
like a newly-wed spring leaf.
And I've never been more okay
.

It was a Tuesday evening;
Just about 7 o'clock, when
I stopped to smoke a ciggie
And listen to the church bells ring.

Sometimes late at night, I sit
On the steps across from my
Apartment complex, where
I hear kids play in the evenings.

lil' lolita
Orange sky
blue lungs
acid under my tongue

lets touch the moon until our lives are done
waves crashing over me
i wish i were the sea
waves crashing over me like i'm sad
lets turn purple into blue
take my hand

bones are creaking like the hinges of the doors
the red roses on the counter aren't blooming anymore
you cut the feathers off my wings
grim reaper pushing you on the swings
wish i could make you out of clay
i'm afraid your image in my mind might go away
