Allowing one’s thoughts to go haywire
To traverse the perverse
Odd and uneven terrain of perception
Neutralizing the amorphous tidbits of "migrainous" quandaries
Coalescing into mind boggling quagmires
Underscores the need to appreciate the wonderment that’s reverie.
The need to take some time to ruminate blindly over   anything and everything fanciful.
To laugh even smile at one’s own grandiose deductions
That’ll never achieve the high threshold of logic.
This indeed does crystallize in distinct perspective
The wondrous phenomenon that’s daydreaming.
Many a times
I "catch" myself in uncontrollable stitches
and this is often a resultant effect of
daydreaming that's overstepped the boundaries of
logic and sense.
Let the mind be seduced
By the most beautiful ideas
Keep the windows open
For temptations to sneak in
Alluring you to think
About the beauty beyond
Those seen and touched
Kiss goodbye to monotony
And travails of everyday thoughts
Naked truth is there to explore
It’s the pleasure
To seek and find pristine areas
Of thoughts, never explored before
How is it that I am now so softly awakened,
My leaves shaken down with music?--
Darling, I love you.
It is not your mouth, for I have known mouths before,--
Though your mouth is more alive than roses,
Roses singing softly
To green leaves after rain.
It is not your eyes, for I have dived often in eyes,--
Though your eyes, even in the yellow glare of footlights,
Are windows into eternal dusk.
Nor is it the live white flashing of your feet,
Nor your gay hands, catching at motes in the spotlight;
Nor the abrupt thick music of your laughter,
When, against the hideous backdrop,
With all its crudities brilliantly lighted,
Suddenly you catch sight of your alarming shadow,
Whirling and contracting.
How is it, then, that I am so keenly aware,
So sensitive to the surges of the wind, or the light,
Heaving silently under blue seas of air?--
Darling, I love you, I am immersed in you.
It is not the unraveled night-time of your hair,--
Though I grow drunk when you press it upon my face:
And though when you gloss its length with a golden brush
I am strings that tremble under a bow.
It was that night I saw you dancing,
The whirl and impalpable float of your garment,
Your throat lifted, your face aglow
(Like waterlilies in moonlight were your knees).
It was that night I heard you singing
In the green-room after your dance was over,
Faint and uneven through the thickness of walls.
(How shall I come to you through the dullness of walls,
Thrusting aside the hands of bitter opinion?)
It was that afternoon, early in June,
When, tired with a sleepless night, and my act performed,
Feeling as stale as streets,
We met under dropping boughs, and you smiled to me:
And we sat by a watery surface of clouds and sky.
I hear only the susurration of intimate leaves;
The stealthy gliding of branches upon slow air.
I see only the point of your chin in sunlight;
And the sinister blue of sunlight on your hair.
The sunlight settles downward upon us in silence.
Now we ****** up through grass blades and encounter,
Pushing white hands amid the green.
Your face flowers whitely among cold leaves.
Soil clings to you, bark falls from you,
You rouse and stretch upward, exhaling earth, inhaling sky,
I touch you, and we drift off together like moons.
Earth dips from under.
We are alone in an immensity of sunlight,
Specks in an infinite golden radiance,
Whirled and tossed upon silent cataracts and torrents.
Give me your hand darling! We float downward.

Just Melz
I'm laying my ragged twisted
       insides in the ground
   Mourning the death
As if my soul has gone to hell
    And my heart
             Has died slowly
      And painfully
   But my body
         Is still here
   But hollow and black
        Through and though
Just flowing through
         The paces
   Just waiting for **death
To be the reason you breathe

Your every thought
Your every dream
Your purpose in life
Would be the reason I breathe

To be what makes you believe

Your reason for living
Your reason for smiling
Your motivation for existing
Would be what makes me believe

To be the one you depend on

Your rock when you need to lean
Your shoulder when you need to cry
Your soft place to land, when life's too hard
Would be the only thing I could depend on

To be the one who helps you feel strong

Your innocence when it doesn't belong
Your heart when yours breaks in two
Your soul when it's shattered too
Would be what makes me feel strong

**and of all these things
To breathe and believe
To depend on, to feel strong
I only need you
To feel that I belong
Mistaken father, i'm not here to pray,
Or confess my sins, to you today,
Your bible brings, no inner peace,
Your rules abused, no soul released,

A holy disciple, twisted your words,
Tears and torment, all that was heard,
In a place of worship, for only the few,
Told me silence, would bring me to you,

Muted words, brought only shame,
Corrupted my soul, tortured my brain,
A life of crime, no retribution,
Local news, provided a solution,

  ----

Cold steel, a stormy night,
A chapel exposed, in thunderous light,
The door opened, to a church of lies,
Recognised words, tears in his eyes,

Praying I forgive, praying I forget,
Praying his god, will pay off his debt,
The thunder roars, a burning light,
The gates of hell, opened tonight.

No remorse,
For my actions taken,
A son of no cross,
Forever forsaken.
For the fallen

The world is such a tormented place,
Haunted by the insecurities of every race.
Obsessed with greed and absolute power,
The dictators rained on the weak,
With a gun filled shower.

Brave men were enlisted to bring peace to the land,
To help the weak be strong and to make a stand,
Women and children were left abandoned, alone,
While their men were out fighting protecting our home.

Families shattered by one single blast,
Congregating together in one single mass.
Weeping beside a freshly dug grave,
Lay a widow wishing that he had not been so brave.

We will remember him always for his courage and valour,
By honouring his name in silence upon the eleventh hour.
Rest in peace my friend we are forever in your debt,
We will pray for you all.... lest we forget.
