My hands are shaking
My life is changing
I try to hold the reins
And get into control
Just to be throw off my horse again
But it looks
Like there is a smooth
Patch of field ahead

My poems are like night and day.
One happy the next sad.
One full of hope and light.
The next one dark and depressing.
Night and day.
Light and dark.
Hope and agony.
There is no in between.

Romanticism is
Melancholic at best
Always daydreaming
Each one a test

I'm a hopeless optimist,
Some may say.
Tossing petals on a silly rose,
wasting the day.

The idea of love,
So open and free
Thought provoking, mysterious
Until it gets to me.

Then I recall,
Why I prefer being alone.
It's hard to find peace,
In someone else's home.

By home, I mean mind
Two becomes one
You both have to share it
To simply enjoy the sun

Idiosyncrasies,
Start to synchronize
The way we view life
Is seen through one set of eyes

We become a machine,
Two bodies and one brain
A lovely entanglement
Loneliness has been slain.

You passed the test,
And you've set me free,
But only through binding,
The concept of 'you and me'

Romanticism is
Melancholic at best
Until the real thing comes,
And starts a fire in my chest.

The taste of your lips,
and the light of your smile.
The ring of your laugh,
and the fire of your touch.
All working together as one
to make me fall deeper.
Speeding up my inevitable landing,
and in your arms, you catch me.
My life finally adding up,
all the moments and tears and wonders.
It all comes together as one,
finally making sense to my finite mind.

~love~                ~is in~
the air, a wonderful thing
that covers me up with
it's wandering eyes
and tells me to
stay.
I don' even know... I was bored

The reminder of our love, your smile in my mind
joyful thoughts, my happy place, you are one of a kind!
My dear, I love your innocence, if only you knew just how much
I try to tell you, but I just don't think you know the extent of my love.
Your eyes, your hands, your hugs engulf me
in the much needed stability, adoration, and security.

accidental words, misspoken sentences
destroying households, and starting wars
too late to take it back -- it's already out there
too late to restart, it's already been done
whizzing past, like the flight of a dragon
a legend, retold, feared by everyone
