You wouldn't be happy to see me
If you were never lonely
And If you were always glad
You wouldn't realize what a good life you had
Sad is how we see happy
And happy is how we see sad
So, don't hate the bad days
Or live for the sun rays
Don't strive for a perfect wonderland
Because happy and sad go hand in hand
If you were always happy, would you be truly happy?

You stay low to the ground
Afraid to move, to make a sound
Why let gravity pull you down?
Look behind you my dear...

You have wings

Wings of mercy that can carry you high
Over burdens, like dark clouds in the sky
Tell me, haven't you always longed to fly?
Just look my dear, you have wings

Once you take flight you will finally see light
The darkness is real, but there's no need to fright
The Son will surely destroy the dark night
He gave you your wings
So take courage
Take flight!
God's forgiveness lifts our burden of sin and gives us wings of mercy

The first part of any small talk is...
"how are you?"
They say "good, how are you?"
I say "I am good too"
Then I must compliment their hair
Ask them about their week
Show them that I care
By smiling cheek to cheek
But deep inside I'm feeling rather weak
Small talk has never come naturally
Anyone relate?
