Our world has many distractions,
Many of which I've known.
But here am I in the midst of it all,
writing a poem to whom I don't know.

Most of all I love you,
More than you could know.
And someone out there, near or far,
To you my love does flow.

I cannot help but think of holding hands,
Crazy dancing and smiling glances,
Movie nights and games with friends,
Writing notes of silly romances.

I'll sing you songs,
Some sincere, others silly but true,
Cause I'm just that kind of person,
You'd best be crazy with me too!

I'll try and love your sports,
and support your teams with cheering,
I'll bring you snacks, and cuddle up,
Though on the inside I may be leering!!

I'll make you cookies and huge cakes,
whipped beautifully with cream,
Even with this I'll be so happy,
I may believe myself to dream.

Oh darling, the future feels so far,
Maybe I should embrace today,
but what good is that to me,
When half this heart is out at bay?

They think me strange, and very different,
Just waiting for my prince,
Forever thinking to my tomorrow,
Based on parent's experience.

I'm sorry mother, father,
It does hardly seem fair,
But for you I will continue on this journey,
A life lived with special care.

And they are out there, living today's life,
And while they're grounded there I twirl,

Waiting for you to find in me:

*A precious, beautiful pearl
So wait for me,
As I do you,
Listen little to this world,
To the moon and back I do love you,
Be strong big man,
Till we meet :)

I wish to enter your mind;
to scrub clean its walls
of frenzied brush strokes
and scribbled words.
I will not stop
until my hands blister;
until I make of you
a blank, echo-filled room.
Only then, will I
leave for you my art;
A single flame,
glowing bright
to fill and warm.
You will only feel it.
But all will see it
in your eyes.

SheOfNeverland
Alice in wonderland
Alice in chains
Down the rabbit hole went
The child's remains;
Remains of the girl that she never was
To make room for the woman that she has become.
Alice in wonderland
Alice in chains
Old Alice lays dead
By herself she was slain;
Blood spilled by the blade conjured up by her mind
Or was it a Wonderland pill she did find?
Alice in wonderland
Alice in chains
As she falls down the hole
She forgets she's insane;
She'll wander the hills of this conjured up place
Singing songs with flowers with a painted on face.

A lot of places in this world
Are waiting patiently for you,
So you should keep your sail unfurled
Toward what’s challenging and new.

Then you can find a lot of friends
That will support you in your strife.
Your future certainly depends
On what you have achieved in life.

So fight for what you’re really worth
And never let yourself give up.
Inherit happiness on Earth,
And life will offer you its cup.

No matter what you keep in view,
A lot of places can be yours.
If you speak languages, then to you
The world will open all its doors.
My native language is Russian but I like English. So I dedicated this poem to the English language.

the unknown roars
with a deafening silence
that obliterates the mundane
raising fears from deep within
that we didn't know we had

so we attempt
to pace the time-worn path
one step at a time
one more time

there is nowhere to hide

Qualyxian Quest
Life as a disease
The sickness is desire

Obsessions cannot please
Burning, Burning fire

But still to do my best
However things might end

And then to take my rest
Is Death the enemy or maybe

As the Virus distracts
state legislators silently
reshape the landscape
for the aftermath, when
it will be too late for any
protestations due to the
lockdown of a false fear.

i have learned to breathe under holy water -
grew gills so strong they are
lined with celestial gold.

the ocean is a puddle to me now.

and i ***** pearls of pain,
lick them clean with my acetylene
tongue.

my acids will heal what the world cannot.

pills and love potions
can't take away
my virginity.

i am clean, so clean.

the devil watches me and
cringes at my radioactive light.

for i am dead and alive all at once.
poison, poison.

the radium drips from my lips like
babyspit and i am too pure
for god himself

so i offer my golden blood
to a higher power

that would take the pureness of it all
and make it an ounce
of what i could have been

I will retaliate with his mouth,
and you will become what you have made
me.
-- you leave me to stagnate;
talking myself in and out of love, I
forget the curvature, and allure of your body,
and the parts of me that fit in it
starve.

-- call it neutrality, abandonment,
or an "inability to live within" yourself -
call it your serotonin's-seppuku, or
the fact you are inconsiderate;

call it out, like you did in your sleep: "I love
you;"
I do not.

something is wrong with the pendulum
above; my chest has been carved
into new designs;
I am awake with a claw in my head;
I am asleep with nutrient-rich vision;

last night I dreamt
that gnats clouded out from my mouth
as though they were seeding the earth

and I was stupefied; when I awoke,
cold sweat in both hands, I recognized

that apocalyptic mornings
with magma-like light
dripping new over dew,
and the cold stone of night

are a separate entity
from the splinter inside of me

give me that space between
hunter and hunted
where even in mastic war
one can chew stillness.
