you have discovered
you can travel through time
but your favorite place
was always the past
déja vu
you go in loops
reliving what was

remembering is a curse
for feet that desire
to move forward
and eyes that can only
look back
you cannot spit out
the bittersweet taste

this place is barren
but the ghosts you left behind
walk its empty streets
and you keep visiting
to see the love you lost
with flowers on its grave
ones you do not recognize

the present is a place
that seldom interests you
you walk backwards
towards it
you are still welcome
and the gates are open
if you ask for the key

the future cares for you
cannot wait to see your face
you have gone weary
from your travels
going further and further back
you can return any time
but here you will be loved

Thy divine world I once perceived
Is found only within a mere dream
Revisioned, as if seen in the darkest of nights
With one eye blind
The other full of demise

Put each of pride's little endeavours
Out for the entire nation
Letting everyone think
Idealism does indeed own the scene
The arrogance keeps enlightening
Images give nothing of real allure; not today
Confidence over nuance vesting every rat-tailed senior
Avarice lavishes one's naked greed
Letting our yokel, apathetic lot live yearning

Come a dark event, night chills early
Leaving us languished, listing sideways
In masked pretense, real escape seems so ever denied
Misleading, almost social science, easily sways
Align behind; unite simply in nature's grip
Talking has ended
Every vision is different; each new choice exploited

Complete disregard
To the extent of your exposure
How vile could I be
My empathy is in vain
there was a little goldfish he just couldnt swim
for the little goldfish his life was very grim
he took some swimming lesson from the other fish
to be a proper goldfish was his only wish

he praticed everyday morning noon and night
up and down the pond till he got it right
then he could join the others in the deeper end
not have to be alone he could have his friends

he was very happy now that he could swim
now his life was normal and no longer grim
having lots of fun with all the other fish
to be like all his friends was is only wish

Aging happens,
Never ceasing,
Far from flattened,
Always increasing.

I am still young,
But will grow older.
God's will be done,
Let me grow bolder.

I strive to be the best lover I can be,
Not to say I am without faults,
Forgiveness flows through my blood,
Just don't take advantage of this.

Love blinds when it is true,
Over and over again,
Various personalities, lives collide,
Every wound from the ones before vanish.

Love that dies was never there, to begin with,
One has to wonder why it begins,
You can give your heart to one, or to thousands,
Although love is just a game of luck in the end,
Losing is not for those who cannot afford to play.
